I travel solo and I prefer quiet and peaceful places where I can't hear the noise of the city or the music from the night clubs. So Nature Nest was just perfect for me. I liked everything. The room was light and spacious, a comfortable bad, a big bathroom with hot shower and a nice balcony made my stay cozy and pleasant. And it was so nice to hear the chirping of birds outside in the morning. It took me about 10 minutes to walk down to Ella and maybe a little more to walk up. And every time the walk in the nature was nice and pleasant. Sampat and Nadeeka were really helpful, they gave me many useful tips and good advice about Ella and Sri Lanka and I just had a great time talking with them. The food they cooked was really delicious and also they were so kind to give me a cooking lesson and even a ride when I needed it. I highly recommend the Nature Nest to anyone who values comfort and calmness. And I will be glad to come back if I have such a chance.

This homestay was perfect for me! Originally booked it only for two nights and stayed there in total for one week. I loved everything about it. Ruwan, the owner and his family were so kind and always ready to help. The breakfast + dinner was also super delicious! The location is convenient as well and the view you get from the balcony is simply amazing! Perfect for watching the sunrise or sunset. All in all: It was such a wonderful + peaceful stay and I'm really looking forward to coming back! Thank you so much Ruwan, see you soon!!!

Was able to change around the menu based on our preferences and food allergies. Staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Let the staff know if you have any issues, they will endeavour to provide the best experience for you. Book these rooms! We had the view of the mini Adams peak and the Ella rock (with the gap inbetween) phenomenal to wake up to and see the sunrise. We are walking distance to the train station, and the main strip of shops with restaurants, sim card shops, tourist buys. Tuks (like open taxis) are easy to find. It was raining during the our stay, but the hotel was so lovely that we didn't mind staying in at all. Staff gave us all umbrellas when we did want to walk outside. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it. The view from our room was just amazing. It was an unobstructed view of the valley which is vast. The rooms are beautiful with a 4 poster bed and mosquito net that was positioned to look out over the balcony. The bathroom was large with a walk in shower. The balcony was big with a couple of chairs and beanbags so you could just relax and enjoy the view. We even had monkeys on our balcony one morning which was nice. They weren't aggressive or noisy, they were just passing through. Breakfast was different everyday with a choice of western or traditional. Town was an easy couple of minutes walk into town along the railway track so the location was perfect. The staff were great and always friendly and helpful. My only negative is the mattress was too hard for me but you can't get the perfect mattress that suits everyone. This would not stop me from staying there again. We loved it and would recommend it.

What a find, such a beautiful spot high up on the mountain side, spectacular views. The room and facilities were so clean, loved the four poster bed and so comfortable too. We had a double balcony with fantastic views of the surrounding area. The dining area is spacious with all round views very clean. The meals were well cooked and delicious. Loved the breakfast. The staff were great nothing too much trouble for them. I do hope I get to go back to stay at Dream Catcher.

Booked two rooms together. The location is perfect, you can overlook the mountain view, look forward to the sunrise, the children in the swimming pool love it, and it is also very close to the town, just five minutes along the railway track.

A true paradise! The experience in this delightful guest house was fantastic. Arriving after a long journey on the fantastic train that crosses the Hills we were welcomed by Dhana's dad (unforgettable manager) with a magnificent tea on the terrace, with delicacies prepared with grace and care with a breathtaking view and Ella Rock.Dhana is an exceptional manager. from the moment of booking, he was very kind in handling every detail...Dhana is also an expert guide capable of organising tours of all kinds. what about the Paraiso? room with a breathtaking view, terrace to fill your eyes with greenery and be caressed by the sweet air of Ella.The breakfast was sensational, carefully prepared by Dhana's delicious wife.
