Hotele w Espinho

The view from the balcony to the ocean was super beautiful!!! The apartment was very large and spacious. Unfortunately, breakfast (which we have booked spontaneously for a day) was unsatisfactory. There was no fresh vegetables, unfortunately no choice of bread, juices, sweeting or similar. The sweets have tasted well, the “rhetoric” and the very thickly cut “toast bread” unfortunately not. Even the coffee could definitely be better. The hotel was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was as near to perfect as it gets for us. We stayed as a family of four in a Sea View Suite on the first floor. The 2 rooms were very comfortable. Large double bed for adults and fold out sofa bed for the children. The bed was so comfortable. The block out shutters helped us get a great night’s sleep each night. There is a spotless clean pool with about 20 beds surrounding it. It tended to get busy later in the afternoon as people checked in but we never had trouble finding somewhere to lie. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. We still had plenty to choose from after 5 mornings. The staff was brilliant. Especially the restaurant and cleaning staff. They were so considerate and kind. The WiFi worked well and the TV had lots of channel choice. It is a decent walk to Espinho town centre.but well worth the effort. There is a Continente supermarket and a McDonalds a short walk away. The boardwalk is about 500m away as is the beach. We plan to stay here again next Summer

We stayed at this hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for 7 nights. The hotel was modern and clean, staff were very helpful. The room was cleaned daily and products restocked. The location was perfect for us as situated close to motorway. We had a hire car for the week so the hotel car park was great for us. Burger King was next door so handy if wanted a quick coffee day or night. The hotel does have a bar. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, alongside a full continental selection. I recommend this hotel, we would certainly stay there again.

We were very pleased with our 2-night stay and will return as Espinho we wish to complete the boardwalk which begins close to the hotel to Vila Nova de Gaia. The weekly feira on Mondays is not to be missed. Pros: value for the money (a comparable room with ocean view in the Boston/Cape Cod area in July would easily go for at least 4 times what we paid), proximity to beach, town, and boardwalk, view from balcony, patient and accommodating staff, lovely breakfast, spacious bathroom with full-sized products (shampoo/shower gel/hand lotion) Cons: no air conditioning in lobby, parking is no included in the EXTREMELY reasonable price for and ocean-front hotel

I may as well start my review with the only negative I could find. This was the smoking area directly outside the hotel entrance. So as soon as you open the door to go in cigarette smoke also went in. And now the good parts without a doubt, the hotels, biggest attribute are the staff. Our week started with a very warm welcome reception from a young man who was very polite and very helpful. Unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. But I guess that doesn’t really matter as it is a recurring theme during our entire stay . One young man who needs a special mention who works behind the bar, told me he was only 20 years of age, which I didn’t believe as he is one of the most honest, trustworthy and sincerest of persons I have the fortune to meet. It just goes to show that not all young people have attitude . Now I have to say that everybody who works behind the bar was fantastic and polite. so on behalf of my wife and I would like to thank you all. But Andre Martins you are a superstar from my heart you deserve a pat on the back and a promotion. One day my friend I’m sure you will be manager. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The management should be very proud. The room was fantastic overlooking the river was clean and tidy with plenty of room. On occasions we ate at the hotel and every time wife was running out of wine someone came to pour some from her bottle. Her exact words were she felt like a princess it was nice that staff mad us both feel very special. The food was very nice and we both would recommend. In due course we shall return to the hotel as it was well situated. Thank you to all an absolutely fantastic start to our tour of Portugal.

A quirky former paint factory (so they told us) set about 15 minutes walk downhill to the riverside of the beautiful River Douro, with all the cafes, restaurants and port museums. Hotel fairly grand looking and hotel staff all smartly attired. We were upgraded to a lovely suite with window overlooking the Douro. Negative for everyone else that all other rooms had windows facing into the courtyard which seemed a poor design. Buffet breakfast adequate, evening meal adequate.

A five-star hotel, with lots of swimming pools and a beautiful scenery! The Atlantic Ocean is behind this hotel! It's 10 minutes' walk away. It was a pity that I was busy with work and had no chance to swim!

Atendimento muito hospitaleiro, uma simpatia a atenção única num hotel de 3 estrelas com qualidade e conforto dentro das expectativas. A recepcionista foi muito simpática aquando do check-in. O pequeno almoço corresponde às expectativas de 3 estrelas, sem nada de transcendente mas dentro dos parâmetros. Recomendado.

I spent 2 nights in a female dorm room. I believe there are mixed dorms and private rooms as well. I had a top bunk but I think you can request a bottom one when booking if you would prefer not to climb up. I had my own lamp and a plug for recharging my devices. The bed was really comfortable. There were 4 ensuites to service our dorm and I never had to wait. The communal area is just wonderful. Cozy lounge chairs as well as some bar stools by the windows were you can look over the river and towards Porto. Most nights of the week, they serve a hostel dinner for €10 which was great value for money. We sat at the large table in the common area and it was great to chat to the other guests. It is also very close to restaurants and bars if you prefer to go out. It is an easy walk over the bridge into Porto. The breakfast was simple but plenty of it and you could request pancakes or eggs for a small extra cost (€2 I think). I was leaving early my last morning before breakfast was served so requested a breakfast box to go, croissants and fruit.
