All the team are open and friendly, the heated pool expertly maintained and the private gardens with a natural woodland flower garden beautifully curated. A private spa and adept masseuse, added an extra treat. So many lovely little details to make your stay a bit more special too, with quality bed linen and toiletries, to a fire pit to gaze at the stars after dinner. All set in a tiny village in Normandy but accessible to so many bustling places, make this your home from home. We will return, for sure. AJ"

"The location of this hotel is fabulous so much so we booked a room with balcony overlooking the Seine to celebrate our anniversary. The room was simple, characterful , clean and comfortable ,and expensive. We had the buffet on Sunday night which we found quite basic, apart from the fresh salmon, it was mainly cold uninteresting salad dishes, and desserts that could be bought in supermarkets.It cost 37 euros per person plus wine. The staff were pleasant but service was minimal as one person was receptionist, waitress etc. All in all it was disappointing and expensive compared to the other places we stayed on our trip. I felt the website did not fully reflect the standard of the Hostellerie."
