"One of the worst experiences we've had in recent times!! We started with the room, although they upgraded our room, the room we stayed in had all black tile joints!!!! The bed below was full of dust, then the bathrobes were quite small, to go to the indoor pool we had to go from the room to the main building via the street, at reception it was not informed that we had changing rooms and that we could change our clothes in the changing rooms so as not to go out in the cold….. In PA on Friday and with only 20 peace at home, the lack of quality of the products served (vinoiserie served was not of the day) combined with the lack of professionalism and friendliness of the employee, dictated that we would not make any meal at the hotel, it is also noted that the hotel lacks preventative maintenance, which is a shame. We were not informed of any activity (entertainment) at the hotel, which means that we left the hotel and there was no consumption by hotel guests. The cleaning of the room on Friday was quite poor, leaving only one roll of toilet paper available, the glasses were not changed, and the pool towels required a direct exchange of towel/card, we were left without towels and cards. Thanks to the kindness of the receptionists at check-out and the PA on Saturday, which improved a lot, both in terms of customer service and the products served!!"

Quinta da Amendoeira - the Farmhouse

"We were welcomed by our friendly hostess who showed us to our apartment, walking past the beautiful pool area. A modern sitting area with kitchenette led through to the bathroom and bedroom. Electronic blinds afforded dark, quiet nights, and good linen and large towels were appreciated. Breakfast was served in the cafe/reception area or could be enjoyed on our private patio. Plentiful breads, croissants, ham, cheese and eggs were freshly made. The property has a small menu for lunch/dinner but we ate out in Evora. There are bikes or their electric buggy for hire, walking trails to follow and a beautiful massage area under trees on the estate. Recommended."

"Zalety o hotelu: Lokalizacja, usługa i czystość pokoi były wspaniałe. Sam hotel jest estetycznie przyjemny wewnątrz, i wiedząc, że używał fasady starego bębna-ring był również dość fajny. Teraz oszustwa: poduszki były bardzo płaskie i nic im nie było, więc nie spałem dobrze i miałem lekki ból głowy, gdy się obudziłem, a śniadanie było trochę drogie za to, co było. W przeciwnym razie to był dobry pobyt."

A Casa do Governador

"I stayed with friends at the lovely Casa do Governador which is around 3 kms from the centre of Evora & 500 metres from the Convent do Espinheiro. There are only 5 or 6 rooms but each is tastefully decorated and has a/c and fully fitted bathrooms. Downstairs there are a number of lounge rooms which are rustic and reflect local living and a shaded lounge area outside, this is set in 20 acres of land including a pool which we did not visit as we were to busy sightseeing. We would recommend."

"Located in the historic centre of Évora, this accommodation is a very good option for location.The apartment was spacious, with a good living room, kitchen, bathroom, room and a more upper floor with two beds. The decor is beautiful and comfortable. The facilities include TV and Wi-Fi, hair dryer, kitchen with all the necessary household appliances, washing towels and good cleaning. A less positive point is that there is a window on the roof that had no screws, starting the room to get light just when the sun is born."
