"Matala jest wspaniałym małym miastem, w dalszym ciągu od tłumów lepszych znanych ośrodków w Krecie. Hotel Matala Bay jest witany, z przyjaznym pracownikiem. Hotel jest bardzo czysty i pokój jest wydajny. Jest to 3-gwiazdkowy hotel, ale niedawno został zamodernizowany. Mieliśmy problem z złamaną głową prysznicową, która natychmiast zmieniła się w bardziej nowoczesny. Śniadanie było pyszne, tak wiele wyboru. Wybory jaj są smażone lub gotowane, a czasami niektóre zmarszczki. Wiele wyborów chleba, zboża, zimne mięso, sery i ciastka. "IDI Hotel is excellent. Just outside Stavros, but not too far to reach a cozy, authentic Greek restaurant within a few minutes. The breakfast is fine with plenty of choice. You can eat inside the restaurant or outside on the terrace. As mentioned, you can dine in the village or at the taverna next to the hotel. Everything is at very reasonable prices. The pool is large, 1.50 meters deep. There are plenty of sun loungers and shady spots. The rooms have all been renovated. Very tastefully done. We stayed there for a week. During the day we also often went to Matala (20 minutes by car). Nice beach and manageable in terms of crowds."

"I stayed at this hostel for one night during a music festival, and I had a really positive experience. The room was clean, the staff were very polite and helpful, and they even provided me with an extra blanket when I asked. The location is excellent—right next to the bus stop, just a 5–7 minute walk to the beach, and close to the city center. The room had a proper renovation, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and I slept comfortably. Overall, I enjoyed my stay"

"The 2* hotel is a few minutes from the beach and is perfect! I was there for 10 days at the end of May until 8th of June. My room was spotless, was cleaned every day by a very friendly young man and I got new sheets and towels every second day! The owners are so friendly and made me feel very welcome, their breakfast buffet and coffee was great. There were also some really tasty Greek delicacies in pastry and some Crêpes in Nutella! 😋 All in all I had a great stay and can highly recommend the Eva Marina!"
