"I have never given a bad review to any hotel, and this hotel has refreshed my understanding of crappy B&Bs! It's dirty, messy and bad. , mild formaldehyde poisoning, because this B&B, which only opened in May, was filled with the pungent smell of formaldehyde dust. First of all, I would like to objectively evaluate the outdoor environment of this homestay. It is very quiet and comfortable in the rural countryside. We booked a suite, but as soon as we entered, we smelled a strong smell of air freshener. I thought it was for the housing experience, but later I found out that it was to cover up the strong smell of residual decoration! First: When I opened the quilt, I found about seven or eight men's short hair on the pillow and under the pillow, and several women's long hair on the sheets. I called the waiter to change it. The first waiter who came to change it was quite nice and said that the auntie probably didn't have time to change it. But then another woman came in to help change it and even told me that the sheets and quilt covers were clean and it was impossible that they had not been changed! I asked her why there were so many hairs if I didn't change my hair, and she said that she didn't wash it off when she washed it. I was really speechless! She even told the first waiter to fold the sheets she had changed as she would use them later! OMG! And this kind of hotel hygiene awareness is really amazing! Second: the toilet floor was covered with dirt that had not been wiped clean, and the sofa was left with crumbs of snacks left by the previous family. But that was not the biggest problem. When I wanted to take a shower, I found that there was no hot water! Later I called them to come and fix it. The housekeeper said that she had hot water when she stayed there a few days ago so it was impossible that there was no hot water. I asked them to come and have a look! Later, a master came and tried to fix it for more than an hour but still couldn’t fix it! The master called the housekeeper, and the housekeeper said that it was almost OK to wash. The maintenance master said that it was impossible to wash as long as the water temperature did not exceed 25 degrees! It took almost two hours to fix it! Third: I couldn't sleep the whole night because of the very heavy smell of decoration dust and formaldehyde. I couldn't sleep at all. Then my nose was blocked and my eyes were tearing up. My husband also had a blocked nose and a sore throat. He had a terrible sore throat when he woke up in the morning, and there was blood in his nasal mucus! After checking out and returning to Hefei at night, I found that the pain in my mouth and throat had not gone away and was still painful. Later I found out that it was formaldehyde poisoning 🤮! I returned to Changzhou today and the symptoms haven’t recovered after 3 days! This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It has no sense of service and hygiene!"
