"Le Jas de Gordes is a beautiful property tucked in near Gordes. While we enjoyed our stay, it wasn't what we considered four star quality. The wifi did not work for two of our three nights. The T.V. did not work. The A.C. did not work. Some of the towels in our bathroom were damp upon arrival. Pool is beautiful, but smells like car exhaust from proximity to road. The property itself is quite beautiful, the rooms were underwhelming. If I were to donut again, I would book a room in Avignon and drive into Gordes for a day trip. For the price point we were underwhelmed and frustrated with the amenities that did not work during our stay."

"The rooms, though small, were very comfortable; located in a relatively quiet area near Stone Town, they felt more open and natural than the castle hotel; the restaurant had a great location with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The pool was nice, a truly excellent experience!"

"We returned to Le Palais for a third time and were not disappointed. I understand the hotel is under new ownership and it is still as good as we remember. We stayed in Room 3 which had a small terrace outside with pretty views over the surrounding countryside. Large double bed, TV, air-conditioning, safe, shower. Breakfast is a buffet and better than I remember. Loads of choice and really nice staff. The pool and lounger area are also really nice. Special mention to Jean-Christoph on reception who was brilliant. Highly recommended and would come again."

"We were charmed by this magnificent enclosed and wooded estate. Tastefully decorated, with a beautiful billiard table and piano.
