"We used the travellers inn as we wanted to see the grisdale tarn and we needed to a room to stay after the sight. They allowed us to store our luggage at the inn as our check in was at 3pm. The rooms were clean and it overlooked a farm area with lots of sheep. The room had an aesthetic look and there was tea satchets we could have as well. The staff were kind and wonderful. The rooms had the britain charm you see in old english movies. If you love sheeps, kind people, good food and 80's british aesthetics- then this place is just for you. We loved our stay here."

"Absolutely love it here. It’s such a good location for loads of walks, swims or just relaxing. The staff are friendly. It’s clean. There’s lots of facilities. They’re obviously improving things too with more storage for self catering. We stayed a night camping and a night in the dorm room. Ideal location for a walk up to easedale tarn or into abide via rydal. Of course will be back again very soon."

"Piękna lokalizacja z widokiem wzdłuż doliny z pokoju, popołudniowa herbata szampana nie była najlepszym... bez kanapek.. zbyt wiele ciasta z łopatami suche.. prawdopodobnie zamrożone. Obiad był ok !!! ciepłe jedzenie.. Ale śniadanie było niesamowite miało dużo lepsze w Premier Inns. Staff byli bardzo uważni i przyjemni, ogólnie zrozumiał, że jest zima w jeziorach było przyjemne."

Lake View Country House

"We stayed at Lake View for 1 night on 23rd March, after we had taken part in a sports event in Grasmere. We asked to have the room earlier than the usual check in time as we wanted to shower and warm up after the event. Although Lake View couldn't guarantee early access, the keys were there around 12.30pm which was perfect. We stayed in 'Treetop' which was absolutely lovely. He room is finished to a high standard with classic decor and high quality fixtures and fittings. The bedding was lovely and soft and little touches like fresh ground coffee with a cafetiere and hot chocolate make a big difference. The bathroom was large with a lovely oval corner bath (note; there is no shower in this room but that is the only thing I would add, oh and the addition of a full length mirror would also be helpful). Having said that, still a 5 star stay. Would highly recommend! 👍"

"Mieliśmy uroczy pobyt byliśmy w pokoju1 piękny pokój king size łóżko z miły balkon, duża łazienka z łazienką i prysznicem, bardzo wygodne miał wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy na nasz pobyt, balkon był bonus, który usiadł i jedliśmy rano kawę nawet w październiku. Śniadanie było miłe, ponieważ jesteśmy pracownikami, tylko krytyka była Śniadanie czas 8 rano do 9 rano czuliśmy, że powinno być rozszerzone na 9.30 10am to nie przestało nas chcielibyśmy pozostać ponownie i polecić."
