Obiad był ok !!! ciepłe jedzenie.. Ale śniadanie było niesamowite miało dużo lepsze w Premier Inns. Staff byli bardzo uważni i przyjemni, ogólnie zrozumiał, że jest zima w jeziorach było przyjemne."

"We used the travellers inn as we wanted to see the grisdale tarn and we needed to a room to stay after the sight. They allowed us to store our luggage at the inn as our check in was at 3pm. The rooms were clean and it overlooked a farm area with lots of sheep. The room had an aesthetic look and there was tea satchets we could have as well. The staff were kind and wonderful. The rooms had the britain charm you see in old english movies. If you love sheeps, kind people, good food and 80's british aesthetics- then this place is just for you. We loved our stay here."

"Having stayed in a number of YHAs over the past 18 months, Butharlyp Howe remains one of the best with a fantastic location in a beautiful building. The staff were all very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the food was decent. Some excellent weather was also a massive bonus for a weekend at the Lakes. Perhaps I am highlighting my ignorance on these matters but I feel that the total cost of £215 for two nights in a 4 bed dorm with no en suite and breakfast on one morning was just about on the right side of affordable for us, thanks to 15% off (5% young persons/ 10% members). Looking ahead for future weekends, it would be over £200 for the Saturday night on its own, which seems a lot for budget accommodation. I worry that YHA are pricing out families at their current weekend rates and, with our 2 children being the only under 18s at the hostel during the weekend, perhaps that is already happening and seems counter to their mission. Overall we had a brilliant stay at a fantastic hostel, but unless we can manage a night midweek when it is significantly cheaper, weekend stays might well be beyond our budget."

"We have stayed here a few times now. The location is unbeatable with it being in grasmere and having a private access to the lake. A morning walk to stand on the lake shore listening to the birds is so serene and relaxing. We stay in the lake room to get the best views from your window. One evening last year we watched the badgers on the lawn from our room. The rooms are functional and spotlessly clean. The owners and staff are all really welcoming and take time out to chat. In the spring/summer months, this place is unbeatable. We will be back."
