"Przejeżdżaliśmy z NE OK do Throckmorton, Texas. Zatrzymaliśmy tamtej nocy w Sherman, Texas w Motelu 6. Pokój był brudny. Suszone pasty do zębów w zlewie w łazience, włosy w całym zlewie, WC, & prysznic. Było tak obrzydliwe, że odmówiłem prysznica następnego ranka. Podłogi miały ruiny wszędzie i były śmieci i nie jestem pewien co jeszcze pod łóżkiem. Zasłony nie zamknęły się w całości, drzwi nie zamknęły się, chyba że zamknięte i nadal można było zobaczyć światło wchodzące w cały ramę drzwi po zamknięciu. Potrzebowaliśmy tylko pokoju na kilka godzin, aby zasnąć, więc nie prosiliśmy o zmianę pokoi. Również nie jestem pewien, że inne pokoje były lepsze."

"This is an older property that is getting a lot of attention to make it cute. The decorations are adorable but it still has the problems that go with age - the beds are still old, the bathroom floor creaks, the shower head hits my chest (I'm 5' 2") and the toilet takes three flushes. That being said, it is within two minutes of Highport Marina (by car), is the only motel-style lodging in Pottsboro and is the cheapest lodging without considering cabins. The rates are the same as the chain hotel/motels ten minutes away in Denison so it is really up to what your priorities are - closer to the lake or better quality room. There is good boat parking and plenty of it. They also have boat storage facilities on the premises if you are thinking of more of a home base for the lake instead of just a stayover. One thing to consider is that the party area is really used for that. The night we were there, there was a party essentially out in the parking lot until the wee small hours. It wasn't too much of an issue until people starting going to bed and had forgotten by that time to be quieter near the rooms. There is also a local neighborhood bar across the street."
