"Ogólnie dobre doświadczenie, doskonała lokalizacja, 3-4 minut spacerem od dworca kolejowego i autobusów do ośrodków narciarskich; z wyjątkiem hotelu powinien naprawdę patrzeć na żądanie klientów uważnie, zarezerwowaliśmy 2 pojedyncze łóżko, ale łóżeczka nie były oddzielone w pierwszej nocy. I powiedzieli, że oddzielą nasze łóżka rano, ale nie stało się to, kiedy wróciliśmy."

Very spacious rooms with huge bathrooms (we had to be lucky on this one) and very clean.The hyper central location allowed us to dine in a very warm restaurant highly recommended by the impeccable staff of the hotel. We are delighted with this getaway!"

"Oceniam Hôtel d'Angleterre Grenoble Centre jako „5”, nie dlatego, że jest to „dobry” hotel, ale dlatego, że jest bardzo dobry - i bardzo dobra wartość za dolar (Euro). Jest trochę stary i zmęczony, ale jest doskonale funkcjonalny i czysty. Staff is extremely friendly, witamy i cierpliwy. Dostaniesz to, za co płacisz, a ten hotel może być w rzeczywistości niedoceniany. Nie sądzę, że znajdziesz lepszą lokalizację. W samym sercu Grenoble - chodziliśmy wszędzie. Zrobili miłą pracę z oknami - zachowali stary styl, urocze okna w miejscu, ale dodano to, co nazwę "burzy okna", które są otwarte. Wynik jest doskonale nieobciążony widok i jeśli zamknięte, zero hałasu ulicy. Jeśli przyjaciel lub członek rodziny odwiedzał Grenoble, bym powiedział, żeby pobyt w Hôtel d'Angleterre Grenoble Centre!"

"The room was not very clean. I had to ask for a pillow case. The doors are very loud when shutting. Small cold buffet with do it yourself boiled eggs. Reserved parking, which was useful for us but as other reviews state spaces are small and entrance is narrow,only suitable for small cars and no roof loads"

"The rooms were fine, the view was nice and it was generally perfectly adequate for the price. The walls are rather thin though. Not the hotel's fault but the area itself was not as chic as Grenoble might sound; there seemed to be lots of broken (car window) glass on the pavements next to the rows of parked cars outside the hotel, as if they were broken from the inside outwards. The potentially lovely riverside green areas running along the river were messy and full of graffiti and full of debris unfortunately. But by far the most surprising development to our stay was that, while the younger staff were all extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful, there were two older gentlemen (I would say well into their 70s) who were rather surly and unfriendly and who appeared clearly to be staff as they were always there behaving like they owned the place, eating, reading and smoking indoors. Yes, I said smoking indoors. One of them was smoking cigars, quite literally, MOST of the time we were there in the dining room/bar/reception area. The interior frequently smelt of cigar smoke. While on the one hand this constant activity seemed most unprofessional, possibly illegal, and ... without wishing to be unkind, you got the impression he wouldn't have been terribly pleasant if you had asked him to put it out! ... however, I must say it certainly amused me and I got quite used to it by the end of my stay ... it's an acquired taste, cigar smoke..."
