We chose to book this hotel due to the positive reviews. The free services (pick-up and drop-off) made everything seem sweeter. When we dropped off at Huashanbei Railway Station, the boss messaged me that the car was waiting for us. True enough, we spotted the car easily. The boss even helped to put our luggage in the car. Throughout the short journey to the hotel, communication was hard because we do not speak Mandarin and he does not speak English. When we reached, we were brought to a front desk where we were charged for our next day trip to Mount Hua. The lady at the front desk quickly checked us in, gave us the room card & booked our tickets. The boss then brought us to our room (about 50m walk from the front desk) and showed us the amenities. The hotel on the outside does not look too outstanding. But on the inside, EVERYTHING is wonderful. We got room 8201 with a huge window facing the small lane. No privacy is not a problem as we get to see locals doing their daily life. As we are Muslims, the boss suggested a Muslim restaurant nearby. We did not go due to being too tired. The next day, our journey to Mount Hua was seamless. Everything was arranged, we were dropped off at the bus area and they explained to us clearly. They even waited for us to have our breakfast first before dropping us. We are so happy with the service, watching the locals quietly go on with their lives, that we decided to extend one more night. Extending is easy because there is a vacancy for the room we are in. And changing our train tickets is easy too. We are now typing out this review in front of the big window, relaxing. We love and enjoy everything about the hotel. The good & efficient service, the clean & warm room, the clean toilet with bidet, the clean bathroom with 24 hours hot water to shower, the wash basin with lighted mirror, the beautiful view we get for this room. So much love. Too much that we are sad we have to go back to Xi'an tomorrow. Highly recommended. Will be booking this hotel when we decide to hike Mount Hua again. Thank you so much for everything you & your staff have done for us during our stay. We really appreciate it and will remember this sweet moment for the rest of our lives.

Reception was very helpful. The room (even the whole hotel) has a specific theme that made the room cozy and minimalistic. Location-wise is undebateable, straight line to huashan mountain scenic area, fits the name of the hotel - convenient! A special note to mention is that the chauffeur who drove us from and to huashan north station was super friendly and helpful!

The pick up service provided by the hotel was a huge plus. Inside the room, they provided a humidifier too which made the air feel like dry when sleeping during winter. They provided gloves, a map, updates about the opening of the cable car. Along with the breakfast, this hotel really prepared us sufficiently for the climb up Huashan.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and nice and comes with a big screen. Breakfast choices are limited but adequate. There are free transport services to and fro huashanbei train station and also to and fro huashan attraction that is really helpful for foreigners. You can call the hotel via trip.com free Internet call to arrange for transport. The staff also helped us buy the cable car and bus tickets to huashan and gave us free gloves. We had dinner there, and the food was delicious (I really loved the 2 dishes I posted). We are also very honoured to be invited to a pre-release sunset photo taking experience at their rooftop with a very huge glass panel that you can stand/sit on to take instagram worthy photos. I believe the free photo shoot will likely be available soon for hotel guests. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the hotel.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was huge — with two queen beds — and everything felt very new, clean, and well maintained. Super comfortable overall. One of the highlights was the hotel transport service. They provided transfers to the train station, and also sent us to and picked us up from the Huashan Tourist Centre, which made our trip to Huashan incredibly convenient and hassle-free. The staff were very friendly and thoughtful. They even gave us free gloves and bottled water, which was a really nice touch, especially for the hike. Another bonus is the Hunan restaurant in the hotel — easily one of the best Hunan meals we’ve had. Great taste, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Huashan!

Plus points: 1. New hotel and it is very clean. 2. Free train station transfer and free transfer to Huashan scenic area. Just notify the hotel earlier and they will send driver to fetch you from the station or send you to the station. Driver was very pleasant and helpful. 3. Washing machines and dryers which is comes in handy to use. 4. Front office Ms Yang Yang is absolutely helpful and do whatever she can to assist hotel guest. She really makes hotel guest contented. Negative points: 1. Far from restaurants and shops.There's only one restaurant and one mini market next to the hotel.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Novotel Huashan. The railway station pick up service was seamless. I called the front desk 3 hours prior to arrival and a front desk assistant was very helpful in arranging for the pick up. The transport was already waiting for us outside the station. The driver was very friendly. We were welcomed by the receptionists and check in was very smooth. As a Platinum member, I was upgraded to the Premier Room. The room was simply amazing. The bathroom is equipped with fully-automated water closet system with heated seat. The welcome fruit plater was sent to my room upon check in. Breakfast was great too! No wonder this hotel is dubbed as Huashan’s no.1 hotel! We had a great time staying here. Special thanks to Evelyn, Yuki, Tina and every member of staff who looked after us during our stay. I will definitely return to the hotel for my next visit!

My friends and I got there on a rainy day. The west cable closed so we decided to change the cable ticket to the next day and spent the day in the city. Staffs are very helpful. They picked us up and dropped off at the station. They also drove us to the visitor center in the early morning. The bed and shower room are nice. Breakfast is an average. Friend forgot the Buddha necklace there, but we just found out when we were in Xi'an and about to go home.

Super resort at the foot of Mount Hua, great service and location. Very friendly receptionist who helped with many things, enjoyed the snow sports world next door and the hot springs.
