The hotel is beautiful and steeped in history. Breakfast was very nice and location is convenient for the airport. My only issue was we stayed in room 003 and in the morning about 4am delivery trucks starting driving back and forth down the side alley which actually woke us up as the window was open. One of the trucks even decided to back up down the alley with a constant beep beep beep which was really annoying. I'm not sure why he just didn't turn around but clearly he chose not to. The other small issue was the shower took forever to drain but this is an easy fix which the hotel said they would look after. Other than that, the stay was wonderful.

No one reply my in-app message so I have to call. And it’s weird that the receptionist is not clear about my Gold membership benefits such as late checkout and free breakfast but what I find the most disrespectful is that the receptionist has to ask the duty manager for my requests yet the manager was just chatting with other staff and she never smile at me whenever I pass by and look at her. I’d love to stay again but the reception should be trained properly again.

Great Location. Room is a bit small and can also be cleaner. Hotel staff is able to locate the shirts that I forgot in the room however, hotel staff is not able to send the shirts back to me even as I was willing to pay. I had to arrange my own courier service to pick them up. Surprised that Hilton cannot provide this service.

We had an overall great experience at this hotel. It is in a quieter area of Dublin but there is plenty to see and do just a short walk away including Trinity College, the National Museum of Ireland galleries and within 15 minute walk of most major attractions. They also had good connections to the airport using the Dublin Express Bus that had quite a few stops nearby. There are some very good restaurants a short walk away from this hotel and the Leap Card can get you pretty good public transportation around the city. The hotel has studio style kitchenette apartments. We were surprised with how well equipped the little kitchens were which included multiple cooking utensils and pots. They had a Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, mini fridge (stocked with some milk), microwave/oven and a mini dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets, dish soap, sugar, salt, pepper and a few other things were conveniently included. We made ourselves breakfast each day we were here which was easy to do because there is a Tesco Express and possibly the best bakery in Dublin just around the corner with Bread 41. The room was pretty good with plenty of outlets and even though it was a bit small there was enough space for our two large suitcases and bags. They have a small seating area with a table, a large flat screen TV, good WiFi and good lighting. The bathroom was pretty good too but we weren't a fan of the partition because it does not cover the full shower area and it was easy for water to get out of the shower. They have an all in one body wash too. The room was mostly quiet but we were there on New Year's Eve and there was one lady who had a very loud complaint in the hallway around 3 in the morning for around 15 minutes. The staff are very kind and helpful. They had no room left in their luggage storage when we arrived so they allowed us early check in which is usually 20 Euros. They have a WhatsApp ”AI” chat that you can request service through and we used it for extra towels that came up pretty quickly. The hotel has some amenities including a small restaurant/bar that has some food and coffee and paid laundry machines. Breakfast here costs 15 euros if you pre-book but if you want it the morning of it is 17 Euros. The one thing we found tricky about the hotel is that we had to use the elevator to go up and down even though we were on the first floor because all the stairwells are locked up for safety/fire protocol. Overall, a good stay for our first time in Dublin and we would consider staying here again or recommending to friends and family with similar interests to ours.

A bit away from the city center, but there is a tram stop outside that get you to the city in 15 mins. Room is clean but a little small. Book for one bed but was given a two bed room. Prefer to have just one bed for more space. Overall still a very good hotel. Recommended.

I decided to ditch staying in the city centre based on my below par experiences there on my last trip. When looking on Trip.com, Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel in Dalkey was the same price as several dorm rooms in the city centre when I looked. Getting there from Dublin Airport was relatively straightforward. I took and Aircoach from the airport to Dalkey/Ulverton Road and then walked for about 15 minutes. Up to the hotel entrance. The hotel is fairly old fashioned but personally I found it very charming. The staff were well-trained in the art of hospitality, the rooms were clean, locals were in and out of the bar, restaurant and leisure centre. Furthermore, the room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The tv had a nice range of channels and the bathroom had a working shower and an abundance of towels. One thing missing was a toothbrush, toothpaste and shaving kit. I was told that you can get slippers on request as well. Get the breakfast. It’s €16 and it’s a buffet style with a delicious selection of hot and cold food. There’s rashers, sausages, hash browns, pancakes, the works. I wish I could’ve eaten more! I loved that they had a wide range of ages working there as well. One of the staff tripped when she went to ask if everything was ok and she said ‘I’m fine, I’m falling for you!’ It was then that I knew that I was home. The leisure centre is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. I’ve stayed in so many places where it’s literally an empty room with a few bits of old equipment but they had loads of weights, treadmills, bikes, etc. They do classes and physiotherapy as well. The pool and jacuzzi were also excellent. Plenty of ages in both as well but it wasnt overcrowded so you’ll get a few lengths in if you want. Lastly, make sure to go for a walk about Dalkey and the surrounding areas. I spent the morning walking down to the Vico Baths, the Forty Foot (both swimming locations) and passed through Dalkey Village. Plenty of people will be out with their family and friends whether it be for a walk, bike ride, swim or a coffee and a chat. Ditch Dublin City and say yes to Dalkey!

Very near to airport. Choose this hotel because of the early shuttle service which gives me ease of mind. The hotel staff immediately arranged a taxi for us free on the house when the shuttle bus did not arrive on time. Very good service!

Knowing The Address from Dubai, I knew I could expect quality. Located on a main road across Connolly station, the train noises were only noticeable on the outside. As we arrived very early we accepted the first available room after an hours wait in the beer garden. We don’t normally accept twin rooms but as I was unwell we took it. A clean, classy, modern room, in comparison to which the bathroom with a bath looked a bit outdated. But the room had our fave rooibos tea! The hotel has ample F&B choices: a bar, cafe, restaurant and a ‘beer garden’ - a cute one too with useful heaters on the wall. Service in these areas however lack protocol, which we always seek in hospitality. The gym situated at the end of the premises is a public one, which means there’s non-hotel resident traffic through the corridors. It took us a moment to realise and a confirmation from the concierge that the hotel also houses ‘temporary residents’ evident from my fellow smokers in the beer garden and the children in their school uniforms having their breakfasts in one of the bar areas. We didn’t expect this from The Address chain. It reflects the reality Ireland is coping with. Mój mąż i ja planowaliśmy tę podróż do Dublina przez jakiś czas, a kiedy znaleźliśmy ten piękny hotel boutique online, byliśmy tak podekscytowani. Gdy tylko przyjechaliśmy i zameldowaliśmy się, w okolicy lobby było dużo rzeczy, więc było to trochę przeważające. Widzieliśmy damę na biurku, ale nie byliśmy pewni, że ona naprawdę tam pracowała, bo nie przywitała nas. Nawet nie wyglądała na naszą drogę. Wydawało się, że miała ogólną niezainteresowaną lub nienawiść do naszego przybycia. Pytałem: „Czy to jest przednia recepcja do hotelu?” Odpowiedziała w monotonnym głosie: „Tak. ” Byłem zszokowany, że to było pierwsze wrażenie hotelu, które dostaliśmy. Co pogorszyło sprawę, że mój mąż został poinformowany, że musimy zatrzymać kartę, a on zaczął kraść kartę, myśląc, że to było jak wszystkie inne miejsca, do których byliśmy w Irlandii, ale to nie zadziałało. Kilka razy tłukł go i nic nie pokazywał. Pytał panią: „Czy tłuk działa? Czy masz tłuk?” Na co odpowiedziała tłuk, „nie.” Proszę pamiętać, ona stała tam cały czas i mogła zobaczyć całą sytuację. Ta interakcja była tak straszna, i to sprawiło, że nasza krótkia podróż do Dublina poczuła się trochę twarda.  Obudziliśmy się, żeby dostać kawę na dole, a ten pan, który pracuje w barze, był bardzo ciepły. Był absolutnie niesamowity; cierpliwy i gotowy odpowiedzieć na wszelkie pytania O elementach menu I różnych dostępnych pastek.  Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, hotel był mieszany. Miał bardzo elegancki wibe, ale poza tym uroczym dżentelmenem, ich usługa klienta może zdecydowanie poprawić!
