"The Kaliwa Lodge was a fantastic experience. We arrived after a long traveling journey and were welcomed by the incredible staff! The rooms are beautiful and the food is freshly cooked everyday and so delicious. It is super peaceful and if the clouds allow it you have a panorama view of the Kilimanjaro, it’s unreal. Still, the best thing was probably the incredibly sweet, helpful and kind staff. Omari and all the others are doing an amazing job. Thank you."

"Very nice setting on the outskirts of Moshi with a view of Kilimanjaro (sometimes). The room was spacious and comfortable with a deck overlooking the meticulously maintained grounds and swimming pool. However, the best reason for staying here is the amazing staff. They were super friendly. We would especially like to acknowledge Hope who escorted us into town on her way home to Moshi town. She helped us find a shop we had been looking for and even put us on a boda-boda (motorcycle) with a trustworthy driver. Another memorable employee was Julius, who initially helped us get situated in our room but soon became our best friend. He made us laugh every time we saw him. We will remember Tanzania fondly because of these wonderful people."

"We traveled to Tanzania with Ultimate Kilimanjaro to hike Mt Kilimanjaro and safari. Stella Maris was a very clean, comfortable and friendly hotel prior to our hike. The staff was friendly, the restaurant food was great and our room was clean and had all the amenities needed before we left for our hike. All profits go towards supporting an amazing school of 350 kids (mostly orphans). We were able to tour the school during our visit."

The Altezza Travel team at the hotel was very well prepared and worked seamlessly together. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and offered good, affordable meals. I especially appreciated the personal touches — they remembered everyone’s names, which made the stay feel warm and welcoming. When I had to stay later after check-out, they helped connect me with a local for a walking hike, and upon my return, made sure my shoes were cleaned and dried for my travels home. "Zostaliśmy tu naszą pierwszą i ostatnią 3 noce podróży i po odejściu przez tydzień, poczuliśmy się jak wracając do domu. Pracownicy nie mogli być bardziej przyjazni i bardzo przyjemni, nawet prowadząc nas na spacery do miejscowej wioski i odpowiadając na wszystkie nasze pytania.
