"This small guesthouse is well placed overlooking the 25th hole of Hermanus Golf Club. Bedroom was spacious with air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious made by Jon and served by Moline. Breakfast only served from 8 am but if golfing early a takeaway breakfast pack is provided. The small garden and pool area is lovely for relaxing either in sun or shade. The first floor lounge and balcony overlooking the golf course were a good place for relaxing too. An honesty bar is provided but we did not make use of it."

"The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, and we truly loved our stay. The atmosphere, rooms, and overall aesthetic are exceptional, and in many ways the experience was very enjoyable. However, we were disappointed and surprised by the policy requiring guests to leave the lobby and public areas immediately after check-out, with the mention of an additional fee otherwise. This felt a bit strict and unexpected and slightly took away from the otherwise warm experience. Unfortunately, the interaction with the manager (who worked in the morning 27.01.26) in this situation felt uncomfortable and poorly handled. Also, our car was well parked in front of the hotel in a shadow, we asked to keep it there for another hour — the manager agreed but asked us to move the car, so we ended up leaving a car under a strong sun, and when we came back we realized that there was no guests in the hotel, who would occupy the space, and the shadow area was free and empty. Unfortunately, the manager didn’t let us keep the luggage inside the hotel so we had to leave it in the car under the sun, including all the food we had. This felt quite unreasonable and unwelcoming, especially for a hotel of this level. Despite this, the hotel is beautiful and the stay was overall a good experience."

"Our stay at Selkirk House was outstanding from start to finish. Celia is an exceptionally friendly and helpful host. She supported us with excellent restaurant recommendations and gave valuable tips for day trips in the area. The generous breakfast deserves special mention, offering a wide selection of fresh fruit and various freshly prepared egg dishes. Everything was beautifully presented and of high quality. The rooms are very spacious and thoughtfully decorated with great attention to detail. In the room, coffee, tea, and water are provided. The bathroom is perfectly equipped — nothing is missing. There are even candles to create a relaxing atmosphere in the bathtub, as well as tissues and many small extras that make a difference. Thank you, Celia, for hosting us so warmly at Selkirk House. We look forward to coming back."

"Pobyliśmy w Lavender Manor od 4 –6 sierpnia jako rodzinna grupa siedmiu (pięciu dorosłych i dwóch dzieci) i mieli wspaniałe doświadczenie. Nasze trzy pokoje były przestronne, wygodne i przyniosły dość well ‑ minibar, który był uroczym dotykiem. Kobos powitał nas w przyjeździe i nawet niósł moją bardzo ciężką walizkę na schody tak przemyślane gościnność. Śniadanie każdego ranka było pyszne, z wielkim wyborem gorących i zimnych opcji. Mąż był szczególnie zachwycony rolkami! Jako ktoś z Wielkiej Brytanii, który lubi odpowiednią herbatę śniadaniową, muszę powiedzieć, że Marelise robi wyjątkowy pot herbaty naprawdę najlepszy z całej naszej podróży. Pobliska plaża była idealna na poranną spacer, i naprawdę cieszyliśmy się z poszukiwania Hermanus podczas naszego pobytu. Lavender Manor oferował komfort, dobroć i wspaniałą obsługę w całym kraju, i chętnie polecamy go innym, którzy odwiedzają ten obszar."
