"First stop on the way to vacation, close to St. Gallen, but quiet and with free parking and direct elevator to the hotel. Very courteous and competent ladies at reception, a smartly furnished, spacious room with a large shower and accessible bathroom. The only drawback: as in many hotels, there isn't enough space in the bathroom to comfortably store two toiletry bags. When will interior designers finally put themselves in the shoes of the users??? Delicious breakfast buffet with many locally sourced products; we didn't try the restaurant because it was closed the evening of our stay. All in all, highly recommended for both vacation and business trips."

Säntis - Das Hotel

"The hotel is nice and the employees (with 1 exception) very friendly. If you have the great view to the mountains, you face the loud street and parking. We faced the quied backside. The room has two windows, one with fly protection, the other without. The one with the fly protection is right next to the bed and if you open it completely, you have the corner of the window right above your head in the bed (a very well planned stupidity). The food in the restaurant is ok, not extraordinary. Very annoying are the flies. There are so many of them. When you sleep in this hotel you may go to the top of Säntis at a fare of just 22.- instead of 58.- which is a fair price. As breakfast was included in our stay it was acceptable, but if you would have to pay for it, leave it. It's far below average, way to many people for only few things and if you don't have a window place, you only have the view when you go outside."
