"We were given room 312 which had a broken air con unit. Which meant we couldn’t use it unless we went to reception to ask them to turn it up or down. By the morning it stopped working altogether but not until the flashing light kept us awake at night. The room was also quite musty and stale smelling. Maybe it’s a room they rarely use. The man on reception was quite dismissive. The woman working in the bar and restaurant was lovely and she is the only reason my review has two stars instead of one."

"Wonderful stay in every way. Our hosts Doug & Adrian were very accommodating and made us feel very welcome .. and have a great sense of humour with good bants. A special shout-out to the breakfasts too, which were top-end with great produce .. and our room which was a Louise Brooks Art Deco inspired treat. If we found ourselves your neck of the woods again, we wouldn't hesitate to find our way to you."
