Great staff and cleanliness, but some guests could be more considerate Had a very pleasant stay at IMANO Hostel Tokyo. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. They kept the place clean and made the atmosphere very welcoming. The facilities, showers, and toilets were all well maintained and tidy. However, some other travelers were not so considerate and made the shared spaces dirty with food stains at times, which was disappointing since the staff clearly work hard to keep everything clean. The location is quite convenient, it's pretty close to the nearest station, but a bit far if you’re heading to the main Shinjuku Station area In the morning roughly around 10am, few girls will sell bentos outside the hostel, they're pretty cheap and very delicious, give them a try. Overall, recommended. Definitely a great place to stay in Tokyo.

Zatrzymałem się tu rano (pod koniec marca), żeby poczekać w kolejce w pobliskim sklepie z kulkami ryżowymi. To był mój pierwszy pobyt w hotelu kapsułowym, a pokój prywatny był znacznie większy, niż się spodziewałem. (Wydawał się być na szerokość dwóch osób i było trochę przestrzeni w pionie, żebym nie uderzył się w głowę nawet siadając. Chociaż mam lekką klaustrofobię, było w porządku). Zameldowałem się po 23:00. Być może dlatego, że była późna noc, prysznice (w sumie 3 czy 4?) i toaletki (w sumie 8, z czego dwie miały zepsute suszarki do włosów i były tylko rozłożone) były puste, więc nie było problemu. Myślę, że były dostępne udogodnienia. Jednak piętro damskie było gorętsze niż męskie. Ponieważ spałem na górnym łóżku, było jeszcze goręcej i chociaż miałem odsłonięte zasłony, i tak obudziłem się spocony. Wziąłem szybki prysznic o 8:00 rano i się ubrałem, a rano też nie było tłoczno. Myślę, że kapsułki zdecydowanie są warte swojej ceny, jeśli po prostu chcesz posiedzieć do późna w nocy i się wyspać!

Planowałem wybrać się na koncert SEVENTEEN w Tokyo Dome, więc szukałem wygodnego miejsca na nocleg. Ten hotel, położony zaledwie jedną stację dalej i krótki spacer od stacji, był idealnym znaleziskiem. W okolicy jest wiele sklepów całodobowych, restauracji i automatów z napojami. Personel był przyjazny i pomocny. Zameldowałem się przed koncertem i zostawiłem bagaż w pokoju, więc nie miałem zbyt wiele czasu na zrobienie szczegółowych zdjęć. Sam pokój był dość kompaktowy, mierzył zaledwie 6 metrów kwadratowych (około 2x3 metry). Był jednak całkowicie odpowiedni dla podróżującego samotnie i mogłem zmieścić moją 28-calową walizkę na podłodze. Łóżko było rozkładane i nie było najwygodniejsze, ale wystarczyło na jedną noc. W pokoju nie było tak duszno, jak się spodziewałem, a klimatyzacja działała dobrze. Niewielkie biurko i krzesło znajdowały się przy oknie, a zasłony można było otworzyć, aby uzyskać naturalne światło podczas przygotowań. Biurko nie było ogromne, ale było dość długie i mogło pomieścić wiele rzeczy. Na ścianie obok okna wisiał telewizor, ale nie miałem okazji go obejrzeć. W pokoju znajdowało się również duże lustro, wieszaki na ubrania i dwustronny wieszak na ubrania. Jeśli miałeś dużo bagażu, mogłeś przechowywać rzeczy na górnej półce. Wspólne prysznice i łazienki były czyste i zadbane, po dwa na każdym piętrze. Były też podwójne umywalki. Zapewniono podstawowe przybory toaletowe, takie jak mydło i szampon. Możesz kupić karnet Metro Tokyo bezpośrednio od personelu w holu. Hotel oferuje również różne zajęcia i usługi; możesz swobodnie zapytać personel o więcej szczegółów.

The hotel is nice, it's quite spacious, quiet and has all the necessary tools. The view on the skytree tower is also terrific. The pillows are also not the worst. I would stay there one more time, but there are some small cons, of course: - the furniture may be a little bit worn out, - there is a kettle but no tea etc. - reception staff is not that often seen but we didn't have any problems to need them - distance from the subway and buses, especially if you use the Tokyo metro pass. To summarize: for me the price-quality ratio here for Tokyo is quite good, moreover in this district I wouldn't like to live near the subway as it gets super crowded and noisy.

Well located near a train station, with a famous fox temple nearby and good local food.. checkin and checkout process was easy and seamless.. beds were clean and comfortable, with free ear plugs provided toilets were closed for cleaning from 10am to 4pm.. this seems like the standard for most hostels/ capsule places.. they had a small foyer for regular folks but its not too big and sometimes crowded

When you check into this hostel, you need to pick up your own items like towels, a comb, a toothbrush, toothpaste, earplugs, and slippers from the front desk. You’ll have to carry them to your room without a tray to hold them. The sleeping area has bunk beds, but there’s a lack of privacy. On the second floor, there’s a gap about the width of a hand between your bunk bed and the one next to it, making it easy to hear others. Additionally, there are no individual lockers by each bed to store your luggage securely. For female guests, accessing the women’s bathroom requires passing by the men’s toilet, which may feel inconvenient or uncomfortable. Thanks for the complimentary drink.  There is also a common kitchen on the third floor with free water and you can also use the microwaves to heat your food.

Good location old capsule hotel. What annoyed me is the following. You need to check out every single day. You cannot leave anything in your capsule so you have to move everything twice every day. Let’s say you want to go to your room; you meed to do the following. Wait for elevator. There is probably a line so you have to wait for the second elevator. Then take off your shoes in a 1sq meter place with 5 other people. Then wait in line to hand in your shoe locker keys and get your item locker key. Then wait for the elevator again twice to get to your floor. This all feels arbitrary and unnecessary.

I wrote a longer review of this place that covers the basics. After I ended a business trip I decided to stay on in Tokyo so just rebooked at this spot on the app. It seems like the staff here run bookings mostly with a hand written ledger --- when I mentioned to them I was staying longer they just made a note of it and then left me a message when it was confirmed, very chill. Overall the staff at this place were pretty great. I was there for two weeks and in the time I was there I saw maybe like ten different people working there. As an English speaker, sometimes there was a language barrier, but it was never really a problem, and there is clear signage about all of the most important policies all over the place in English, Korean, and Chinese. It was always a friendly experience, most of the ppl working there were older with a kind of caring auntie vibe, so that was fun. At one point I asked to move bunks because a guy on my floor was super sick, and they arranged it with no hassle or fuss, which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place for the staff.

Nice guest house located in front of the west exit of the local station. 50 minutes direct to Shibuya and 7/11 and store within 5 minutes. Food and Restaurant 5 min away and the guest house is ran well by the staff who are friendly. My stay was great.

Our stay in Tokyo at this hotel near Kinshicho was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough! The location is ideal – just a 10-minute walk to Kinshicho Station, which connects you so easily to the rest of the city. Around the station you can find everything you need: shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and even entertainment. It made exploring Tokyo simple, comfortable, and stress-free. But what impressed us most was the room itself. From the very first moment we walked in, everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully arranged. The design is simple yet elegant, with warm touches that make it feel like home. The apartment-style layout was incredibly practical – a spacious living area with a comfortable sofa and pillows, a large table perfect for working or enjoying a meal, and a bed that ensured a restful night’s sleep after busy days in the city. The curtains blocked out light perfectly, and the lighting in the room was cozy yet bright when needed. The kitchen was a wonderful surprise – fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and even an electric kettle. Having this option made our stay even more comfortable, whether we wanted a quick snack or a home-style breakfast before heading out. The bathroom facilities were also excellent. Everything was spotless, the shower and bath were modern and easy to use, and we especially appreciated having a washing machine – such a valuable convenience for a longer stay. The separate sink area with a wide mirror and good lighting was perfect for getting ready. Every detail of the room showed how much thought was put into the comfort of guests. It wasn’t just a place to sleep – it truly felt like our own Tokyo home. The atmosphere was peaceful, the furniture was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness and organization exceeded our expectations. Staying here made our Tokyo experience even more enjoyable. We always looked forward to returning to the room after exploring the city, knowing it would be a clean, calm, and welcoming space. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Tokyo, especially around Kinshicho, I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Perfect location, wonderful facilities, and a beautiful, well-maintained room – it’s everything you could want for a comfortable and unforgettable stay.
