When we were looking for accommodation in Kinmen, I wasn't sure I wanted to book a B&B. Looking at the accommodation available in Kinmen, it seems the majority are B&B and homestays. After having stayed at Zhu Shan Gandee, we finally realised that a good number of the traditional buildings in many of the ”villages” have been converted into accommodation. This one was in the Zhu Shan village where there are other B&Bs. There are no shops or restaurants in this village but downtown Jincheng is only a short drive away. This village is really nice and quiet (as would others I am guessing) and Zhu Shan Park is just a short stroll behind the house from which a top view of the village can be seen. Strolling around the village, this house stands out as more modern and attractive and the nicest in presentation (in my humble opinion). Inside, the common areas are excellent, well presented and homely. There are 2 courtyards to relax in and their atmospheres are so welcoming. We were out most of the time so didn't really spend too much time indoors enjoying what was on offer. Our room was a tad small but we love having a bidet to use. The bed was comfortable. A simple bread and jam breakfast is available if you choose to have it. There is plenty of ”help yourself” bottled and packet drinks in the fridge and in boxes on the floor if you don't want to drink them cold along with make yourself tea and coffee. There are no cooking facilities but there is a microwave. Finally, the lady host is really helpful and awesome. We rented a car so didn't need to be picked up. But she would go out of her way to ensure your stay is most comfortable and enjoyable. That hospitality personified.

It was a great stay at the 7 inn. The host picked up us from the airport on arrival day and sent us to the ferry terminal before departure. The room was very clean with an attached bathroom with no need to share. There’s a busy kitchen but you can always ask if you need to use it for anything. The location is about 2km away from the city center so it’s easier to get around if you get a bike/rental. The host knows all the history about the place and beyond, a super knowledgeable guide when he showed us around the town and gave us tips and recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We only stayed one night and the host took us to the “燕南书院” which had a spectacular paranormal view of the island and a great place to spot the wild peacocks, a perfect ending for our trip to Kinmen. Will definitely be back and stay here next time ❤️

Beautifully clean hostel with a lovely design. In a very rural area near the ferry terminal. Please just be aware that there is no lock on the door at night which was a little scary as a solo traveller. But other than that the bed was comfy, shower was good and the host was very good at communicating over text message to help me.

I returned because I had a good stay there period time, and I was pleased to see the same high consistency.

After long days of sightseeing, sinking into bed felt like a reward in itself. What impressed me most was that both beds were equally comfortable—no one had to compromise or settle for the “lesser” option. The hotel clearly pays attention to detail, ensuring every guest enjoys the same level of luxury. The room layout was practical yet stylish. There was ample space between the beds, allowing us to move freely without feeling cramped. A well‑placed desk provided a convenient spot to catch up on emails or jot down travel notes, while the seating area offered a cozy corner to relax with a cup of tea. The lighting was warm and adjustable, creating a welcoming atmosphere whether we wanted to read, work, or simply unwind. Cleanliness was impeccable. The housekeeping team maintained the room to the highest standard, with fresh towels, spotless surfaces, and a bathroom that gleamed. The bathroom itself was modern, equipped with a powerful shower, quality toiletries, and plenty of counter space. It felt more like a spa than a standard hotel washroom, adding an extra layer of indulgence to our stay. Noise insulation was another pleasant surprise. Despite being in a bustling city, the room was wonderfully quiet. We slept soundly each night without disturbance, which made a huge difference in how refreshed we felt each morning. The air conditioning system was efficient yet unobtrusive, keeping the temperature perfect without any distracting hum. Service throughout the stay was consistently excellent. Staff members were attentive, friendly, and eager to help, whether it was arranging transportation, offering local recommendations, or simply greeting us with a smile. Their professionalism elevated the experience and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Location also deserves mention. The hotel is situated conveniently close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet the room itself felt like a peaceful retreat away from the city’s hustle. It struck the ideal balance between accessibility and tranquility. In summary, the twin room provided everything we hoped for and more: comfort, cleanliness, thoughtful design, and outstanding service. It was the perfect choice for two travelers seeking both privacy and shared enjoyment. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, whether they are visiting for business, leisure, or a combination of both. The twin room is proof that luxury and practicality can coexist seamlessly, and it turned our trip into an experience we will fondly remember.

I had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth. The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though it’s a little away from the main busy areas — something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic. Overall, it’s great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. I’d happily stay here again.

下訂後打電話都沒人接原以為會被放鳥，在checkin時間內到達住宿位置，發現原來是有開，接待小姐姐很親切的介紹環境，房間乾淨舒適，真是不可多得的住宿點。

達到了預期值，值得一個好評。貨真價實，良心賣家。房間更是驚喜，不僅和圖片完全一致，甚至更顯寬敞明亮。設施一應俱全且十分新，床墊和枕頭的舒適度極高，保證了一夜好眠。最讓人滿意的是衞生，從床鋪到衞生間的角落都一塵不染，細節滿分。
