Atour Hotel Luzhou MixC Financial Center

Hotel w pobliżu: Luzhou Wanxianghui/Jiale Century City,Luzhou
„This hotel was fantastic. I’ve stayed in Atour hotels a few times before and been happy, but the staff here were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. No issues checking in with a passport - they seemed to know the process and it took the same amount of time it would in a larger city. We left some dirty clothes in a laundry basket in our room only to discover when we came back later that day they’d been washed and dried. Overall - I just felt pleasantly surprised by the place every step of the way.”

„First of all, I must praise the environment of the hotel. It is in the Zhangba Longan Forest. The environment is very good. Secondly, the staff are also very polite. They have a sense of service, but it is more superficial. When checking in, the front desk received a call from a takeaway asking for directions. He kept talking on the phone for more than ten minutes and left us alone. The check-in process was not very pleasant. The next night, I don’t know why the room had no electricity. I waited at the door of the room for 10 to 20 minutes. Later, they said they would change us to another room. Although they kept apologizing, there was no compensation at all. In addition, the breakfast variety was too simple and the restaurant tasted average. In general, I still like this hotel. I hope it can do better.”

Pros: Close to the supermarket plaza and many street food outlets. Staff tried their best to serve you. Cons: Despite its name, railway station isn't that close. You need to take a taxi (or walk 30 minutes). Check-in process for foreigners will be very tiring (we had to wait 40 minutes in hotel lobby with extremely tired two kids, being questioned by staff about many things. We were asked 'why did you visit here', I thought this is a very ride question. Hotel should welcome guests instead of interrogating them especially when they're super tired after a long day. I'm not blaming the staff as they seem to be doing what they were told to do (protocol I suppose). But we didn't face such interrogating in any of the other hotels in China so I'm not sure why. Another inconvenience, the laundry facility doesn't have a dryer.. We ended up with a load of wet clothes after using the washing machine.. So be aware.

The room is very clean and well-furnished. Everything is as shown in the pictures. The woman at the reception is very friendly and helpful and even provided us with a secure place for our bicycles. Unfortunately, the room is very noisy. We could hear the neighbors through the wall and the windows are so thin that you can hear the street traffic very clearly.
