Hotele w Castle z Wifi

„This place is excellent. The room was exactly as it shown in trip.com. Roo. Space is too much even for a couple. Most importantly, the city view will satisfy you beyond your expectations.”

„Room was good and clean. Location excellent. All the staff were polite. Breakfast is self service but very good.”

„I had asked if I could store my luggage a couple of hours before checking in. I cannot recall getting a confirmation of this, which would have notified me that there would be a charge of £5, which the receptionist informed me of when I arrived. Had I have known I would have made other arrangements and not wasted the journey and been inconvenienced. When I arrived a guest was complaining about how warm the rooms were and that the fans provided due nothing and that it was a possible health threat. I pointed out that there was a note on my booking about air conditioning being out of action or words to that effect but in theory, why is this not pointed out before the booking is made? It seems like you want the money and then expect us to jump though the hoops of trying to get a refund from the hotel and washing your hands of the situation as I found when I rang Trip.com - it should be a human right to have decent ventilation but with the hurdles you set in motion, it might be seen that you rely on people giving in and giving up to getting a refund on those grounds and so I did you a favour and stuck with it, fearing the worse for when I checked in later that evening. It could have been a lot better and it could have been worse. The general toilet and area on floor 2 was disgusting and had no toilet paper and seemed not to have been monitored regularly, when I went to use it after checking out. I’m amazed that there is a higher price tag shown to show the saving  on these rooms, in my estimation the lower price I paid should have been the higher price. The standards were so much better when it was The Big Sleep Hotel. *************”

„The hotel is located in a very nice area where it’s easy to get a taxi or walk anywhere within the town. However, the mobile signal was quite weak, and the hotel Wi-Fi kept disconnecting - I had to log in again every time, which was quite inconvenient when trying to work. The room had a strong smell of rubber or leather, which made me feel sick and gave me a headache throughout my stay. The shower drainage didn’t work properly - no other drainage hole in the bathroom, and it eventually overflowed. I had to call the maintenance team to fix it. After lying on the bed for a short while, I noticed red, itchy patches on my face, almost like insect bites. I later found out that strong detergent used in washing the bedding can sometimes cause skin irritation. That night, I slept with a clean towel over the pillow and asked for fresh bedding the next day. Although my companion didn’t have any issues, I’d recommend anyone with sensitive skin to cover the pillow with a clean towel just in case. Overall, the services provided by the hotel were not bad, but the condition of the room and the reliability of the Wi-Fi definitely need improvement.”

„Like a few hotels in Cardiff, the Marriott is really convenient for the railway station. We chose it because we have stayed there before and enjoyed it. The reception staff were polite and friendly. The room (Superior Double) was quite roomy - but where were the bathrobes? The noise from the streets is quite loud, but it was a Friday night, so to be expected, really. We went to the Utilita arena for a concert, and it was a five minute walk away. I had earplugs to use in the hotel, very useful because of the inconsiderate guests who chatted loudly in the corridor at 1130pm. Comfy bed, in fact, a very comfy bed. Unfortunately, our room had an interconnecting door, and we were woken up early by loud guests next door discussing their plans for the day. Something to9 avoid next time. Breakfast was ok, not the best - but adequate, though. The Cardiff lady with the 'top-knot' who said ”yoh” instead of ”yes” like a true Afrikaans was lovely and very welcoming. In fact, every member of staff we spoke to was nice. I'd stay here again, but maybe only at the beginning of the week.”

„Location is superb. A few mins walk if coming by coach. Located in Cardiff centre. Super convenient from banking, shopping to F&B. Happening street. 10mins walk or so if going to Cardiff Central train station. Good security where u need room access card to enter each floor room and also into hotel building which is inside an arcade after 7pm. Friendly n helpful staff. Clean n spacious room different furniture configuration for our 2 rooms booked. . Clean n new towels. AC room with mini fridge n a safe deposit box but mind isn't working though. Complementary Welcome drinks n snack in mini bar which only found out later on upon inquiry of Mineral water. Laminated floor which is a super point for us due to hygienic reason. Bathrobes provided bathroom will get wet easily coz without a door. . Toiletries n disposal slippers provided upon request. Body lotion, body wash, hair shampoo n conditioner provided. House keeping should be more thorough. Wastebin in bathroom not emptied for our 3days stay. Used cups not replaced with new ones at all. Sachets of drinks also not filled up. Overall, Satisfied n will come back again..”

„I stayed here for 2 nights and had such a great time. The hotel is in a strategic location in the city centre, very close to many stores, restaurants, and pubs. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was decent, and the room had good amenities, though it was a bit congested. Thankfully, I was staying alone, so it wasn’t an issue. There’s no parking available at the hotel, so if you’re travelling by car, I recommend parking at Cardiff Central Train Station Carpark, it’s just a 2-minute walk and reasonably priced.”

„Amazing reception service for 24/7 hence need to submit keys every time u step out which is good as no stress of handling keys and loosing it ! Rooms are good cozy and comfortable . Good tv channels Tanle fan , hair dyrer , towels, provided Its a main highstreet with all restoaurants near by. So its ok opt for rooms without breakfast”

„We arrived at Cardiff Central by train, which is 15mins walking to this Premier Inn. It was very welcoming and staff friendly, rooms clean, with as much tea and coffee, which you took from the travellers store at the main entrance. My only gripe is as I have dietary requirements, They couldn't cater for them and had to make do with what was on offer. No gluten free food at night, Only what I would call general burgers, lasagne, steak battered fish and chips. Only veg on offer was peas. In this day and age Hotels need to cater for a variety of people's health conditions. Vegan/vegetarians are not Gluten free or Ibs sufferers or Celiacs. Which are complicated problems. It would be helpful if they offered something which could be adapted. .”
