"Our family stayed at Jetwing Mahesa Bhawan while visiting Jaffna and was blown away by the welcoming atmosphere and personalized experience. The staff led by Jannaka at Mahesa Bhawan were so friendly, creating a unique experience for all of us. The meals and snacks were delicious and cooked fresh every time. The property was excellently kept and at a good location. From morning tea, to swims at the pool at night and all the personalized meals in between our family couldn't have picked a better place to stay at while visiting Jaffna. Huge thank you to Jannaka and the staff at Jetwing Mahesa Bhawan that made our stay so memorable!"

Hotel jest zaledwie w odległości pięciu minut spacerem od dworca kolejowego Jaffna! Frontowe biuro pod FM Gopi i z panną Thuza rozpoczyna doświadczenie gościnne od rezerwacji do checkout. Przyjechaliśmy wcześnie rano 2.45 nadal miał szybki fantastyczny check in. Pokoje są duże bardzo bardzo trzymane pod doskonałą opieką domową. Restauracja i kuchnia jest cudem nie tylko opis! Jeśli ktoś chce spróbować najlepszej kuchni Jaffna i smak to jest to, najlepsze składniki, najlepsze kucharki i wszystkie autentyczne. To jest despota odwiedzić każdy podróżnik północnej granicy do Sri Lanki. Centralny do miasta, Nallur Kovil, Keerimalai, Jaffna Dutch Fort ."

Staff members were inattentive and unhelpful, showing a lack of professionalism and courtesy. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Jaffna. It was a regrettable experience that left me feeling thoroughly dissatisfied. The lack of cleanliness was not confined to our room; it was evident throughout the hotel premises. Common areas were unkempt, and cleanliness standards were well below acceptable levels. This was deeply concerning and not in line with the standards one would expect from a reputable hotel. Furthermore, the service we received was disappointing. Staff members appeared inattentive and unhelpful, lacking the professionalism and courtesy expected in the hospitality industry. Their demeanor only added to our dissatisfaction with our overall experience at Valampuri Hotel. As a result of these issues, I regret to inform you that I cannot in good conscience recommend your hotel to anyone considering a stay in Jaffna. It is imperative that immediate action is taken to address the cleanliness issues and improve the quality of service provided to guests. I urge you to take this feedback seriously and implement measures to rectify the shortcomings we experienced during our stay. Your prompt attention to these matters would be greatly appreciated and may help prevent similar negative experiences for future guests."

"I made arrangements directly with the hotel. Mr. Wijekumara Rajapaksha was the one assisting me with all my bookings and arrangements. He was very prompt with all the email correspondence and WhatsApp conversations. All my friends and family were nicely hosted. The rooms were clean, spacious and well maintained. Their area is super convenient to Nallur Temple and shops too. The team did a fabulous job with their service and hospitality. I will strongly recommend to stay here during your visit to beautiful Jaffna."

"The location is excellent as its walking distance to the train station, bus stand and shops. The atmosphere is very budget type. Considering its pricing its definitely a budget hotel and should be reviewed as such too. For a budget hotel they gave us a very clean room and a clean bathroom. The fittings are a bit old. It had hot water but never used it because of the high temperatures in Jaffna. I think its value for what they offer. Do not book with breakfast because you are at their mercy at what is provided. I thought the breakfast was below par. Service and the staff are excellent. Nice, friendly, and accommodating. The pictures are from a long time back. The place looked a bit run down. We did not mind as we spent most of the time sight seeing and only came to sleep. For that purpose this was great."
