"This hotel was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed at. Our group of 10 extended family members (ages 2-72) were happily surprised by the beautiful grounds, rooms, pool, bars, and nightly entertainment. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly, especially Neema, the manager. The food was delicious and the rooms were spacious, with whirlpool tubs to relax in after a day on safari. Very close to Ngorongo park. Tanzania Specialists tour company booked this hotel for us and it was perfect! The nightly music, acrobatics, and Maasai cultural experience were fun and interesting, too."

"Due to a big goof-up by our travel agent, we had to spend a night at Karatu, just outside the Ngorongoro conservation area and we picked Omegaview that same morning we were due to check in as it had availability. The hotel comes at a price way cheaper than the luxury camps or lodges and so obviously, its facilities are more basic. The staff tried very hard to please us and even made dishes which we requested when we found the buffet did not have much for vegetarians. The hotel is decent and provides value for money,"

"Brand new lodge in a very peaceful setting yet close by & easy distance from Ngorogoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Rooms were lovely, lots of privacy to escape. Food was good quality & freshly prepared although limited options if you are on the set full board/half board. The pool area was very comfortable. The staff, particularly Joseph, Wilson & team were fantastic and made our stay enjoyable. Thank you!"

"Wow, what a place to stay while exploring the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangare National Park! The Hotel itself was first class and the staff went above and beyond. Our family had an age range from two to seventy two and when one person in our group was tired and decided to relax at the lodge rather than go on one of the safaris, she was revitalized in their lovely spa. Neema at the front desk took care of all our needs and Pascal at the restaurant was on top of everything. The chef and Maitre De (Sorry, I forgot their names) were top notch. Hats off to them and the entire staff at this beautiful lodge! I would highly recommend Turaco!"

"With our Safari tour we arrived around 4 pm. The staff is very friendly and the food is nice. Unfortunately the room smelled, was not clean and at night there was a lot of noice. The rooms aren’t isolated properly so you could hear the people from the kitchen above us (We slept on the 3rd floor and the restaurant is at the 4th floor). We wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all."

"This was the our last hotel on our sixteen day safari. The hotel has a great setting with a picturesque view over Lake Manyara. The rooms, although not large, have a nice ambience and are very comfortable. The staff were courteous and helpful. The food was good with decent variety, especially the breakfast. Although we didn't use the pool, it is set on the cliff for a great view of the lake. There was some good local entertainment around the pool that sounded almost Celtic, which we enjoyed. The only negative thing was that we were shortchanged at checkout. It wasn' much, but when I brought it to the ladies attention she just shrugged me off. I felt the amount wasn't worth a scene, but it did leave a sour feeling to an anotherwise good stay. The park itself was anticlimatic in regards to game viewing after our other park experiences. It would be O.K. as a first stop but not last. It is difficult to see much because of the forest and one is to far away from the waters edge to see anything, Even the hippo pond requires field glasses. I must say though we were very lucky. While we were driving to leave we came across some tree lions. Our guide was quite surprised as he hadn't seen any there in three years and thought they had all been killed off when they ventured out of the park. So it did make for a great end to our trip"
