"Be prepared to arrive and see multiple randoms wandering around the footpath and inside the carpark. For most part they’re harmless but keep your doors locked and yr eyes open. The gates are closed at 7.30pm which secures you and yr vehicle so don’t leave your car on the road for any reason at night. You can enter/exit with the remote they give you. The rooms are spotless and very adequate. Not cheap by normal standards but good value vs local prices. I like this place as I can walk to the Katherine club for dinner/drinks, although I have been advised against walking the streets at night. It’s really hard to describe this town unless you’ve been here, but as they say no gate is high enough. This hotel/motel is one of the nicer ones despite first impressions 👍"

"I’ve stayed here a few times now. I couldn’t find the email with the code for the lockbox and had to Google to find a contact number to call. From then on things were smooth. The rooms are large and well equipped. Linen is clean, the beds are comfortable and the aircon is nice and quiet. The rowdy locals are not the hotels fault but if they turn up in the carpark next door and. start their sh…t you won’t sleep. 2am -4am for me . There is a small but secure carpark and the entire complex is safe. It’s an easy walk to the Katherine Club or Woolies. I’ll stay here again next time."

"The Paraway Motel has been operating for 40+ years and has been maintained to a very high standard. Rooms serviced daily with change of towels, etc and top up of tea and coffee. The RSL CLUB IS 50 metres away and we dined there. A very enjoyable experience with a friendly hostess"
