"I stayed at Hotel Castle Salam recently, and while it was doable, I wouldn’t have chosen it if there were better options available in the area. The hotel covers the basics—clean enough, decent location, and functional amenities—but overall, it felt dated and a bit underwhelming. Service was courteous but not particularly warm or memorable. It’s not a terrible place, but it’s definitely not a standout either. If you're just looking for somewhere to sleep and don’t have many alternatives, it’ll suffice."

"Początek zameldowania w hotelu nie był najlepszy .Wszyscy już dostali pokoje a dla nas z kumplem nie było . Ponieważ mieliśmy wcześniejszą rezerwację w recepcji postanowili nam dać apartament w ramach rekompensaty za opóźnienie . Trwało to kilkanaście minut ale rekompensata przeszła nasze oczekiwania .Do naszej dyspozycji mieliśmy dwie duże sypialnie z pełnym wyposażeniem .Był też czajnik z zapasem wody , herbatą i kawą. Obszerna łazienka miała osobną i dużą kabinę prysznicową a nawet wannę z hydromasażem. Była też pełna gama akcesoriów kosmetycznych. W restauracji czekała na nas kolacja ale niestety znowu w europejskim stylu . Niby smacznie i dobrze podane ale mało oryginalnie .Za to na śniadaniu które jedliśmy tu dwa razy wszyscy byli zadowoleni. Był samoobsługowy bufet z dużym wyborem .Było jedzenie "europejskie " ale także ostrzejsze i oryginalne bengalskie . Obsługa na piętrach i w restauracji świetna i bardzo szybka. Wszędzie bardzo czysto więc obie noce wypoczywaliśmy komfortowo."

"Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The bath towels were old and worn out, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, and the restaurant cleanliness was below standard. As a 3-star hotel, I expected better maintenance and overall service quality. I hope the management will address these issues and improve the guest experience."

"The infrastructure and facilities of this hotel are good, but the main problem is staff training, professionalism, and consistency of service. At check-in, I clearly requested a quiet room. The receptionist confidently told me that the room assigned to me was very quiet and that I would not hear street noise. However, the room was facing the main street and was noisy. When I went back to the front desk, they changed my room to a quieter one. I appreciated the change, but I was surprised that the first room had been described so confidently as quiet. Either the staff did not know the room well, or they gave misleading information. Neither is professional. There was also a problem with the room door. My key card was not working properly, so I went to the front desk for help. The staff member behaved dismissively, almost as if I did not know how to open a hotel door. He came upstairs with a smirking attitude. In the end, it seemed there was indeed some issue with the door or handle. A professional response would have been to check the door politely instead of making the guest feel foolish. Cleanliness was another issue. On the first morning, I woke up sneezing badly. Although the room looked clean on the surface, I later found a large amount of dust under and behind the furniture, including around the refrigerator and drawers. These areas clearly had not been cleaned properly for some time. After I complained, it took around 45 minutes for someone to come and clean it, even though it was during the daytime. The coffee lounge service was also disappointing. On my first evening, around 7:30 or 8:00 p.m., I went there for a cappuccino, but no staff member was present. I waited for about 7–10 minutes before someone from reception came and asked what I wanted. After I ordered coffee, he disappeared, and another person came later. Eventually, I was told that the coffee staff member had gone to the washroom. By the time the person responsible for making coffee finally appeared, about 25 minutes had passed. This was not early morning or late night; it was normal evening service time. I left without having coffee. Breakfast service also showed a lack of basic hospitality training. For three consecutive mornings, the person making omelettes barely communicated with guests. He did not make eye contact, greet guests, or ask what kind of omelette they wanted. Guests had to place their order while he remained almost completely silent. He may be a nice person, but in the service industry, basic politeness and professionalism matter. Overall, this hotel has good facilities, but the guest experience falls short because of poor staff training, uneven service, slow response, and unprofessional behavior. Management should focus not only on the building and amenities, but also on how guests are treated."
