I booked this hotel for the convenience of going on a safari the next day. The decoration style of the hotel is good, and it looks quite gorgeous, but the inside of the room is relatively ordinary. The facilities are very old, and the moisture can't get out after taking a shower. The whole room It is very, very humid (the kind of water flowing down from the reflection on the wall). When eating in the restaurant, there are stray cats begging for food. People immediately lower their heads. The next day, because the safari departed at 5 o'clock, the breakfast packaged by the hotel was relatively simple (not worth the price, it is recommended not to order breakfast). Generally speaking, the price/performance ratio is very low, which is the level of the relatively poor express hotels in China. I booked one month in advance, it seems to cost more than 600, but after check-in, I checked the price on the day and it was only 300

It’s hard to describe in one word. The staff had a good attitude, but was rather rigid and wasted a lot of our time. I didn't notice the difference between one person and two people when booking online. When I arrived at the front desk, I was told that the reservation was for one person and not two people. I said I would pay the difference. The front desk said no, they had to go to the platform to book again, but there were no rooms available on the platform that day... The next day, they said the room didn't come with breakfast, and after another round of trouble, they said their system had made a mistake. Speechless. Bed, room, shower, good ac, breakfast, balcony/terrace. Everything about the room is very good. It is new and in perfect condition. Even better are the hosts and their service. You get a great and daily changing breakfast, nice dinner if you like, and help to plan your activities in Tissa. The place might be a little out of the town, but that is not a bad thing! The town does not offer much. To get around, to town or to the next beach, you can rent a scooter there and directly behind the property is the Yoda lake. It is perfect for walks in the morning, or for sunset. The sun sets over the lake. It's very quiet and you can see a couple or nice animals there. The 2 times we went there, we saw Grey langur monkeys. Also you can see the buffalos around and in the lake, with just their heads looking out and many different kinds of birds.

Nice rooms overlooking extensive rice paddies. The restaurant and pool were also located so as to overlook the same view. I think most visitors are coming to visit Yala Park. Available material indicated that there were nature hikes and a visit to a place where buffalo curd (yogurt) was produced. However upon inquiry, we were told that the buffalos were gone and that there were no hikes. It would probably be best to remove these suggestions from company material. However we did find a very nice hike through adjacent village back roads. The manager was very nice.

This Hilton hotel is a relatively satisfactory hotel with good value for money. When I checked in that night, it was raining heavily outside. The moment I arrived at the hotel, I finally felt at ease. This sense of security made me feel good about this place. After checking in at night, I walked back to the room along the corridor, accompanied by the wind and rain. It's dark, even if I'm accompanied by a service staff, I'm still a little scared when I walk into the room~~The style of the room is a bit old, maybe because of the wood tone. The bed is quite comfortable, and there's a balcony door that leads to the garden~~The room is soundproofed The effect is relatively poor. We can hear the sound of water rushing when we take a shower next door~~~~ It rained at night and we didn’t go out. When it gets light in the morning, it’s still very comfortable to see the general environment here~ I don’t know how many flowers are falling on the ground~~~ Because I was in a hurry to go to Yala Zoo and didn’t even have time to look at the hotel and use the hotel facilities~~ We departed from the hotel to Yala National Park at 5:30 the next day and will arrive at Yala National Park in about 40 minutes~~ I didn’t have time to check in at the hotel For breakfast, the hotel's breakfast time is 6:30-10:30. You can't catch up with the meal time before departure and when you come back, so if you want to have breakfast, you must have the hotel prepare breakfast the night before and take it with you~~~ After looking at the hotel restaurant environment, it’s a pity that I don’t have time to enjoy it here~~~ By the way, I originally stayed at the Cinnamon Wild Yala hotel that night, and I wanted to stay there You can go to Safari early there~~~ Due to the weather, I temporarily changed my reservation to this Hilton hotel. Later I went to Wanyala Park to check out that hotel... I am really glad that I changed here~~ It was so wise. ...It's close to Yala National Park~ But all the roads leading to the hotel are mud roads, and you need a jeep to get there~~ And the price/performance ratio there is extremely low......The price/performance ratio is rubbish on the ground~~ If you go to Yala Safari, I really recommend it I would rather drive for half an hour than stay there~~ If you are not pressed for time, I recommend staying here

Stayed here with partner and my best friend for two nights while we explored Yala National Park. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was amazing, it had great scenic views from the rooftop and it was very reasonably priced. There are hopper stalls and other restaurants walking distance as well, if wish to try other local cuisines. I highly recommend The Rain Tree Hotel if you’re visiting Yala National Park or the surrounding area!

Originally it was just a temporary hotel booked for the Yala Wildlife Park, but it gave us a surprise. The hotel is not very big, typical Sri Lankan style.
