Cons: The breakfast is limited to Japanese-style food (such as row eggs,,etc)which may not be suitable for international guests with dietary restrictions or food preferences that differ from standard Japanese cuisine. Also, the staff declined to clean my room on the second day, saying that room cleaning was not included in my booking!"

"Located on the shores of Lake Saroma, facing west, this hotel offers excellent sunset views. The onsen (hot spring) is quite nice, with facilities on both floors, and the dinner buffet is well worth the price. The hotel has been open for a while, and there's a persistent issue with the ventilation units or air conditioning units experiencing low-frequency resonance. Luckily, I brought earplugs and wasn't bothered while sleeping; all three rooms we booked had this problem. The second-floor Japanese-style villas have traditional decor, outdated facilities, and small bathrooms, but the bedrooms are spacious and include a small terrace. I would recommend the lake-view rooms on the fourth floor. They're newly renovated, the showers are very comfortable (no need to step into the bathtub!), and the bedrooms are large enough to suit modern lifestyles."

The eggs were piled up and marked "one per person." They didn't look as appetizing as advertised. They advertised Wi-Fi in all rooms, but it wasn't working in my room or the hallway in front of the room."
