Forest meets farm in the heart of Bainbridge Island a short 15-minute walk to the Seattle ferry and quaint town of Winslow. Unwind on our small farm in a dome tent nestled under towering trees in a private setting. Enjoy your day relaxing by the seasonal (mid June-Sept) heated pool overlooking the pastures of goats, ducks, pigs and peacocks. Walk bike or drive to one of our local restaurants beaches or parks or take the ferry for easy access to the city and amazing views. A hybrid tipi style canvas bell tent sits atop a reclaimed wooden deck. The uninsulated canvas tent is outfitted with a queen size bed made up European style with feather duvet (no top sheet) and quality linens. Other furnishings include dresser, Keurig coffee/tea service, games/books, space heater, and comfy seating outfitting the inside. The real treat? a spa like private western red cedar bath house bringing you truly closer to nature with the organic design, raw wood finish, and outdoor shower under the trees. Some of the cedar used in the bath house was reclaimed from leftover timber in clear cuts of the Olympic Peninsula. Outdoor loungers, string lights and a fire pit. 9Mile Farm Forest Tipi experience may not be for everyone if you are uneasy without strong wifi, room service, a roof over your head, a lock on a door, early morning farm noises, or really nature this may not be your cup of tea. Be honest with yourself, does this listing sound intriguing or terrifying? if the latter please rethink before booking. Please understand that the farm is undergoing constant improvements & various projects may be underway during your visit. We try to keep it tidy but realistically that just isn't always possible. Our cozy cottage features stunning views of Dyes Inlet. It is also a bird lover's paradise with so much activity right within view of the cottage! The sunrise views are truly amazing & you can enjoy them while enjoying your morning coffee on the nice big deck, but make sure you catch a sunset as well. It is fully furnished & includes 1 bedroom with closet, 1 bathroom & a full kitchen/dining room with refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven & all the essentials. Additional amenities include TV, DVDs & player, books & games, wi-fi, grill, use of canoe, kayaks, bikes & rubber boots.
The Property
We are on 2.8 acres with a large amount of waterfront. The tide goes in and out twice a day. The cottage has a covered parking space and additional parking is available upon request. There is a personal a gas grill on the deck and you are allowed to use the canoe or kayaks (with a signed waiver). We have a large canoe as well as 3 adult and one child kayaks. We also provide most sizes of rubber boots for beach combing and several lawn games.
During low tide, you can walk around the point as long as you stay on the beach. We have 2 big friendly dogs and 2 cats on the property that might want to visit you when you are outside, but they are not allowed inside the cottage. There are also goats and chickens you can visit if you'd like. Feel free to explore the small nature trail, play the 6-goal disc golf course, or hang out at the beach front picnic table - when weather permits.

(Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays will be closed.)

HOUSE RULES AND NOTEWORTHY TOPICS
Visitors & Noise
o No unregistered overnight guests or visitors are allowed. Only registered guests are allowed. Additional guests/visitors are not permitted without prior approval. The Host reserves the right to terminate the booking immediately if this rule is not followed and respected.
o The maximum property capacity is up to 6 people.
o A $58.00 charge will be added for every extra Guest with pre-approved.
Parties and gatherings are prohibited.
o Please be considerate of our neighbors.
o Quiet time is from 10:00p.m. till 8:00a.m.
o Please refrain from making noise during that time.
Heating
o The thermostat is mounted on the wall to the right of the kitchen wine bar. Please press the up or down buttons to adjust the temperature to your liking.
o To turn the heat on or off, press the Mode button twice and adjust it to your liking temperature.
Child Safety
o Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are always fully responsible for their safety.
o Using glasses outside is suggested cautiously for safety reasons.
o Children must always be accompanied by an adult
o while outside. Be aware that no fences on the
o bulkhead prevent children from falling into the water.
o No standing on or playing around the bulkhead.
Pets
o This home is pet-friendly, with dogs under 65 pounds only; a $98 pet fee per dog applies.
o If you are bringing 2 or more dogs, please inform the Host at the inquiry.
o No pets on the furniture
o No pets to be left unattended
o No using bowls from the kitchen for your pet (dog bowls are provided, stored in covers)
o Clean up after your pet
o Dogs must be always on a leash when outside.
o If there is any pet damage, please contact us so we can work it out. Otherwise, you will forfeit your deposit.
o Service animals are the exception
Secure & Energy Saving
o To keep belongings safe and secure, close and lock all the doors and windows, and turn off lights & air conditioners when leaving the premises.
Safety
o Use caution when using stairs and steps surrounding the premises, such as a walking pathway to the house, up/downstairs, steps to the covered patio, the bulkhead, steps to the beach/water, walking on the beach, etc.
o Use caution when using steps from the patio and steps to the beach!
o When walking to the beach, please use appropriate shoes.
o Swimming at the beach at your own risk!
o No candles lit inside the house. The candles are only for decoration.
Fire pit/campfire
• It is located outside on the patio. The fire pit is for campfire only to enjoy.
• Firewood is complimentary. The woods are home-chopped (Note: Donations/tips are welcome!)
Smoking/Vaping are prohibited
• Smoking/vaping of any kind is not allowed anywhere on the property.
• Failure to adhere to this rule will result in a deduction from the security deposit.
• Do not use the premises for any illegal activity.
Cleaning & Maintenance
• No shoes in the house.
• No eating or drinking in bedrooms.
• There is no deep clean is expected, but please help to tidy up the room
• Wash the dishes and throw out the garbage before checkout
• Turn off any electronics when you leave the house.
• Garbage and recycling cans are in the driveway, in front of the garage door.
Kayak
• Kayaking is done at your own risk; Sunrise Beachfront Home (914STR, LLC) is not responsible for personal injury, death, or property loss.
• All registered guests must sign the KAYAK (and PADDLE) BOARD WAIVER (ADULT and MINOR) the day before check-in.

• Kayak is located on the patio behind the chaise lounge chairs against the house.
• Life jackets are located downstairs in the utility room on the left side (through a curtain)
• For Participants under the age of 18 and/or Participants with legal Guardianship
• Must sign the Kayak waiver form(s) before check-in!
Kitchen
• Please help yourself to anything in the kitchen (tea, coffee, salt, olive oil, etc.). Feel free to use our cooking ware, utensils, and appliances. However, remember to wash all dishes and utensils before leaving.
