"This motel features owners who treat their guests like royalty. I arrived in Klamath Falls at the Amtrak station and was given a ride to the motel by the owner! My room was very attractive, walls enhanced by a couple of creative jigsaw puzzle art pieces. I had everything a traveler would want: full fridge, microwave, cable TV and internet, dining table and huge shower. The owners work hard to keep their property impeccably clean. I give this lodging the highest rating. It's a superb value."

"Disappointing Stay – Poor Maintenance for the Price We stayed in Chalet 505 on May 24–25 and paid approximately $220 per night plus tax. While the location is beautiful and the chalet itself has potential, we were disappointed by the number of maintenance issues throughout the unit, especially given the price. Upon arrival, we discovered that the faux fireplace heater was not working. The satellite television service was also not working, which the front desk acknowledged. We ended up trying to use the DVD/VCR player instead, only to find it was not properly connected and had no audio. We spent time tracing and reconnecting cables behind the television and components just to get it functioning. Several other items throughout the chalet were in disrepair or not functioning properly: • The screen door on the sliding glass door was damaged and torn. • The curtain over the sliding glass door was partially hanging down and needed repair. • A control wand for one of the mini blinds was missing. • The wall control for the living room ceiling fan/light was broken. • The kitchen faucet would not provide a full stream of water and only produced a partial spray/stream combination. Individually, these may seem like minor issues, but collectively they created the impression that routine maintenance is being deferred. For the nightly rate being charged, we expected a unit that was fully functional and properly maintained. The setting is lovely, and the wooded surroundings are peaceful and attractive. However, management appears to be charging premium rates without investing sufficiently in upkeep and repairs. We left feeling that the unit needed attention and routine maintenance before being rented at this price point."
