Worth to stay in Kota Gede of you would to explore Kota Gede the famous silver crafts stores and the previous Mataram’s funeral complex. Kotagede is one of the historical areas in Yogyakarta city. In this sub-district there are traces of the relics of the Mataram Islamic kingdom which is the forerunner of the Ngayogyakarta Sultanate."

If anyone says this guesthouse is good, they are definitely a shill. Be wise before you regret it like my family and I did. I booked through Trip.com. This was truly a nightmare. I booked two rooms for two nights. On the first day, we checked in late, around 7 PM. The sheets were dirty, pillows moldy, walls moldy, lots of ants, no soap, no hot water, and the towels were torn, grubby, and unfit for use. My refund request for the second day was denied. Effectively, I only stayed 12 hours because I checked out at 8 AM on the 15th. This guesthouse is an abomination. Go ahead and enjoy the money from deceived customers who are forced to check out early because the service and room facilities are not as promised. If we can't claim justice in this world, we, the disappointed ones, will claim it in the afterlife. For anything and everything, I am utterly unforgiving and discontent!"
