Very high rough - probably because the area is under protection because of wildlife - combined with many hilly lies and sometimes narrow fairways makes it difficult for high handicappers and long hitters a like and the ”pro” will be frustrated with rather lousy greens and two many short par 4's probably made to cramp in 18 holes in a space better suited for maybe only 12. As ”golf” is a key attraction something has to be done to make the total experience live up to the standard of the hotel itself.

The hotel and especially the food and the friendliness of the staff is top class. The golfcourse is situated right next door in beautiful surroundings (hilly green lush area right next to a big lake) but the layout, the design and the standard of the upkeep (especially of the greens, but also for tee boxes) do not pay justice to the surroundings. Very high rough - probably because the area is under protection because of wildlife - combined with many hilly lies and sometimes narrow fairways makes it difficult for high handicappers and long hitters a like and the ”pro” will be frustrated with rather lousy greens and two many short par 4's probably made to cramp in 18 holes in a space better suited for maybe only 12. As ”golf” is a key attraction something has to be done to make the total experience live up to the standard of the hotel itself.
