"The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, with very few restaurants and malls nearby, so you're pretty much limited to eating at the hotel's own restaurant. From the outside, the hotel looks quite grand. The main area of the lobby is taken up by the restaurant's bar. The actual hotel check-in desk is tucked away in a corner next to the elevators. The Hanting Hotel next door has a proper, well-placed lobby, but this 'Shenli Grand Hotel' doesn't seem to have a decent reception area at all. What's more, breakfast is served at the Hanting Hotel's breakfast room, which is in yet another separate building. On the plus side, the parking lot outside is large and shared with the Hanting Hotel and a guesthouse nearby. cleanliness was good, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and the sheets and duvet covers were clean and tidy. The shower water wasn't hot, but the sink water was, which makes me wonder if it's all part of the same hot water system. If it were colder, I wouldn't be able to shower. The facilities felt a bit subpar. The shower water turned cold after a very short time. The TV was small but did offer live channels. Breakfast at the Hanting was varied and plentiful, so I found the breakfast to be good."
