I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

The breakfast is very rich. I like it very much. The staff is also very nice. Thank you to the front desk. This was an absolutely lovely stay. The room was clean, and when the staff cleaned the room while I was out, they went above and beyond, organizing everything, and everything perfect. The staff was fantastic and very attentive, especially Sherry Aaron (thank you so much for everything!). Location, staff, rooms were all wonderful. Highly recommend.

A very nice hotel with friendly service in a good location. It is between two stations on two different lines of the subway with an easy walk about 10-15 minutes either way. There are also a lot of shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk or a short cab ride. The hotel buffet breakfast had a lot of choices with both Chinese and western dishes and very good service. The room was very large and clean and comfortable. Tv had English news channel and the Wi-Fi worked well although I seemed to only be able to log in one device using the same phone number to get a code. The front desk staff spoke English and were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

The local flower cakes are very thoughtfully placed in the room. There is also a rock-style check-in point on the second floor. The style of Zhu Cha Tea is good, and it’s just the right place to have afternoon tea after you’re tired from all the shopping. The waiters were very friendly and helpful in carrying our luggage to the room; any questions we had were answered quickly. A hotel worth returning to again.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. It's conveniently located in the charming old town of Kunming, and is only a short walk away from Wuyi Road metro station. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building with a central courtyard providing a tranquil place to sit and rest. My room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, the shower worked perfectly, and the balcony gave a nice view of the courtyard. The bath was a pleasant surprise, however, I would prefer to have extra living space instead of the bath and just have the shower. However, with this being a historic building I realise that the owners might be unable or reluctant to demolish and rebuild parts of it. Also, it would be nice to add a bar of soap and some facewash to the bathroom (which was already well-stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and handwash). Before and during my stay I experienced some of the best service I've ever had. The manager contacted me before I arrived and even added my WeChat to give me the location of and directions to the hotel, then made me feel welcome when I arrived and continued to do so during the entire stay, with offers of free homemade flower cakes and tea (both of which were delicious). I'm sorry to leave this wonderful place so soon and I'll definitely return!

When you go out, turn left and cross the street from the subway station to Kunming Old Street - Victory Hall - Green Lake. On the right Turn to Nanqiang Night Market, behind Jinbi Plaza. You can get there from Metro Line 5 or Line 3 to the Wuyi intersection from Exit A or B.

The service at the front desk is considerate, they greet you when you come in and out, there is free water to drink, and you don’t need to pay for more. The breakfast is rich, with all-season special white porridge, soy milk, hot-fried and cold dishes, and there are special staff to guide the meal. The experience is very good. The room Clean and comfortable. There is a tatami tea table for drinking tea. The eldest sister even washed the clothes I changed and sent them back to the room. The service I can think of is reflected in the whole season. It is the first choice for going out in the future. I strongly recommend it

The first time I came to Yunnan to play, I heard that Nanping Street is the city center, I plan to live here. I saw this homestay on Trip.com. The location is very good. It is very close to several lively streets in the city center. Nanqiang Street, Golden Eagle, Nanping Street, Small Garden, all nearby, it is very convenient to live here to these places. The room is large and well-equipped, clean and hygienic, the boss is very good, and also tells us a lot of places to eat, drink and play. The price in the city center is very cost-effective. I recommend everyone!

Booked this hotel again, the lady at the front desk upgraded my room for free, thank you so much! The hotel is located on Renmin Middle Road, with convenient transportation. There is a vegetable market and a small supermarket downstairs, not far from the pedestrian street, eating, drinking and shopping are very convenient. The hotel has complete basic facilities and is very warm. I would recommend it to my friends here!

今天訂的房間在二樓右手邊第一間窗外對着銀行辦公樓，房間大，兩張一米五的床，床單被套乾淨整齊，房間配套齊全，有空調電視機，塑料拖鞋一次性拖鞋，一次性洗杯特好，別的酒店的玻璃漱口杯，是不敢恭維的，衞生間，用具齊全，熱水特給力，位置離老街不遠步行10分鐘可到，過道的地毯待潔，就更完美了
