"I loved my stay at this hotel! I loved that it was located so close to the sea and just a 20 minute walk to Torre de Hercules! And the walk is amazing! The hotel offers rooms with amazing sea view. While its not central, I prefer this as A Courña is a costal city and thats what you're there for. There's a nunber of bars and restaurants close by and its very walkable. Bus stops are available close by too. The staff were super kind as well, lovely people."

"We were taken off the Queen Elizabeth and put into quarantine on the 4th floor of the Plaza hotel. This was totally unsuitable for a week's incarceration. We did not have a balcony and there was only a dressing table and one comfortable chair. There were no usb sockets and the plugs were continental (to be expected in Spain) but when we asked for adaptors (we had packed for a cruise and did not expect to have to use spanish sockets) the ones we were given were not compatible with our UK plugs. One of the main problems was the food and meal times. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the hotel and they would not provide hot drinks outside meal times. Thus we could only have 3 hot drinks a day. Breakfast was served from 8 am until 11.30 am, lunch from 1 pm to 3.30 pm and dinner from 8 pm to 11.30 pm. I know the Spanish eat later but there were more than 20 English guests removed from the ship into this hotel quarantine. We could not have more tea and coffee even if we were prepared to pay for it. Lunch and dinner were the exact same menu. We did not see any vegetables for the entire stay, the food was extremely greasy, undercooked and nearly always cold. I am sure they were overwhelmed but you could order dinner for 8 pm and were lucky if you got it before 9.15pm - very hit and miss. See attached pictures and menu. We did not receive anything to clean the room with although they did change towels and take full bin bags away. When we checked in although delivered to the hotel by ambulance with a driver in hasmat suit we were dropped on the street outside the hotel and could mingle with other guests at check in. The tv in the hotel only had spanish programmes. There was however free wifi. However you cannot download iplayer or itvplayer in Spain. There was a taxi rank and bus stop outside the hotel."

"There's no front desk at all, it's all self-service. There's no toothpaste or toothbrush, and there's even no electricity at the entrance; you have to find a card slot to get power. The only downsides is the convenient location and low price. For people unfamiliar with this kind of system, checking in is too inconvenient and not in a hurry. I really don't recommend it!"

"Tanie i dobrze zlokalizowane emerytury. Proces wjazdu był trochę nudny, ponieważ normalnie nie ma nikogo obecnego. Musiałem zadzwonić i czekać (może 15 minut?) na kogoś, kto przyjdzie i da mi klucz. Poza tym, pokój i udogodnienia są bardzo datowane, ale wszystko było w większości czyste i funkcjonalne. Jest mikrofalowa i lodówka w obszarze check-in. Lodówka/zamrażarka jest potrzebna dobra czyszczenie, ponieważ jest naprawdę zła, a zamrażarka jest pełna mrozów/lodu. Suszarki do włosów są dostępne, ale trzeba poprosić o jeden. Pracowniki są bardzo, bardzo miłe, co zrobił ip dla tych niewygodnych rzeczy."
