The hotel itself was fine, comfortable room with everything one might need. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of free parking, swimming pool, gym etc on-site. And so very peaceful. Would stay again."

"This is not a typical bread and breakfast. You know the moment you walk in the door that you are somewhere different. There is a warmth that can only come from the human spirit and it is felt in abundance the moment you walk through the door. This place will transport you and leave you a better person. We were particularly grateful to spend time with 10/10 Jen, who made the most incredible breakfasts (straight from the farm), showed genuine curiosity and enthusiasm about our lives, and let us feed and engage with the animals. She was amazing and inspiring. We can’t recommend this enough. We actually changed plans to spend more time there on our last day, despite our relatively short stay on the island."

"Friendly reception on arrival. Was sent a text with a number to meting incase I needed it. Love the tartan carpet. Clean, fresh and well stocked. Extras available if needed for tea, coffee, etc. don’t be put off by the separate shower rooms. They are literally two steps over the hall and robes are provided. Lots of fluffy towels left too. I needed an early start so was left a huge continental breakfast. Remember that the bar is only open Thursday through to Sunday. It is on a busy road but good windows and blackout blinds help. Parking was available outside. Nice green opposite. Great for an overnight stop on my way to Edinburgh."
