"Excellent stay, we have gone back after a couple of years gap and the hotel is running smoother and exactly as it should. Food is great, something for everyone, the restaurant is busy but we never waited for more than a couple of minutes for a table. The whole resort is spotlessly clean with very friendly staff. Sunlounger reserving does still happen. Some people were sat on them at 8am, others had towels left.. there are notices everywhere asking you not to do that but unfortunately im not sure anybody takes any notice. Overall a great stay, 15 Euros in a taxi from the airport. We we stay again."

"Miałem wspaniały czas w tym hotelu. Dla 2* miał wszystko, czego potrzebowałem i czego chciałem. Piękne palmy i bougainvillea wszędzie. Było wiele działań do wyboru / zarejestrować się za pośrednictwem aplikacji Tui, takich jak aqua aerobiki, i zachodni joga, oraz sztuki i rzemiosła. Wieczorne rozrywki zostały położone i dobre zabawy z quizami, pokazami i muzyką. Bardzo miło, że mnie ulepszyli do dużego pokoju z widokiem na morze z widokiem na Fuertaventura. Bardzo docenione. Poszedłem do samego cateringu i kuchnia miała wszystkie urządzenia potrzebne. Żadnego piekarnika, tylko mikrofalówka. Łóżko było bardzo wygodne. Dużo miejsca przechowywania i gniazd. Łóżko / plaża. W zeszłym wieczorem jadłem bufety i było tak wiele wyboru. Zdecydowanie poleca."

"Kołdra jest trochę za cienka, w nocy będzie zimno, a izolacja akustyczna jest bardzo słaba. Ale lokalizacja hotelu jest bardzo dogodna. Do plaży można dotrzeć w pięć minut. Cena jest również bardzo tania. Jest dużo ciepłej wody, a personel jest przyjazny."

"We were very sad to have left Fariones yesterday after a wonderful 10 day stay. This was our 4th stay at Fariones and was, once again, perfect. Aside from the usual comments about the hotel, location, decor, cleanliness, facilities which are all top notch the real wow factor comes from the people, the team. The people make the experience. Otherwise it would just be another very nice hotel. Every team member we have encountered over our 4 years of visiting are incredibly courteous, kind, friendly, helpful and make us feel like family. Nothing is too much trouble and they all work incredibly hard. It would wrong of me to name names as I'm sure to leave someone else but I cannot praise the staff enough, this year has been no exception. So thank you, a huge thank you to you all."

"Well what a nightmare hotel NEVER GO THERE it might be a budget hotel but omg they do not deserve a 1 star, we arrived late at night to find we had been put on the first floor after informing them I was disabled and required a ground floor, we rung them up where we got no help whatsoever o i ended up having to climb the stairs on my bum as I can't clime stairs, I had to spend 2 nights on the first floor until they moved us to a ground floor room and then had the cheek to charge us €70 for what we asked for in the first place. On leaving we left our belongings in the reception but forgot a very expensive cover for the mobility scooter which we had hired, when we returned to collect our luggage the cover had been stolen and they denied everything, I would definatly recommend avoiding this place it isn't worth the money."

"Just returned from one week at this hotel. The hotel is very clean, the rooms were amazing. We were in a 2bedroom at the back of the complex overlooking the splash pool. Was lovely sitting out on balcony in the evening enjoying a quiet drink although many ground floor apartments don't have the level of privacy we did. They are modern and the showers are fab. The next biggest plus was the animation team, I can't think of his name but the guy with the mustache and dreads, he puts his heart and soul into entertaining the kids and is very thoughtful and considerate particularly with kids that were shy and found it hard to join in. He is a real asset to the hotel. The food was hit and miss. If you found something you could eat, it nearly always tasted fresh and incredible but we found ourselves as a group trying to avoid eating here. We went next door to Lidl for pastries at breakfast and ate out for dinner and availed of the snack bar for lunch. There seems to be one guy trying to manage everything behind the counter so at times there were huge queues for a fried egg or an omelette. If you want to avoid the wait times you could go earlier but I wish they would give this guy some back up. We spoke to some guests who had been there over previous years and the said they felt the numbers of staff had reduced. Maybe this is what it wrong here they are short staffed but it definitely made us avoid the dining room. Also just personal preference but didn't like having to go down into that very warm space for every mealtime, not sure what the hotel can do about that as it's on a small enough footprint but would have been nice to have option to eat meals above ground too, outside of the pool snack bar which has been commented on already in previous posts. Agree this guy doesn't come across the friendliest, I never found him rude, but in fairness he is stuck inside this tiny corner unit on his own with hot pans and cookers etc for hours. And wait times for a quick poolside snack were sometimes up to 40 minutes. The entertainment in the evening wasn't great. It largely happens in this small space above reception and the heat can be stifling. Mostly just standing space as seating is very limited. It was just enough to entertain our 4-7 year old group but they honestly preferred just running around outside with other kids. The final piece I want to write about is the biggest reason we would not return here. On the Sunday we arrived very soon after a very tragic incident which saw a couple lose their 4 year old child. Firstly I want to say how heartbroken I am for them and secondly I want to say how disappointed I was in the hotel for not acknowledging what had happened somehow. The very least could have been a minutes silence on the weeks anniversary, or a closing of that one pool for a day but nothing, it just felt like business as usual yet you could feel this dark cloud, it was palpable at times. We saw the lifeguards patroling around but spoke to so man"

"Mieszkania były ciche, gdy odwiedziliśmy je w późnym czerwca. Doskonałe miejsce do relaksu i ponownego ładowania naszych baterii. Przyjechaliśmy w czasie lunchu, aby dowiedzieć się, że nasze apartamenty były gotowe zamiast zwykłego 4pm check-in czasu - bonus!! Bardzo przyjazny personel. Mieszkania były czyszczone codziennie, z wyjątkiem ostatniego, który nie był dla nas problemem. Płaciliśmy dodatkowo za apartamenty z klimatyzacją, co było błogosławieniem, ponieważ temperatura wynosiła 30 stopni plus większość dni. W sypialniach były fany dachu, które były również błogosławieniem w nocy. Wszystkie w bardzo przyjemnym pobycie. Wrócimy ponownie."

"A quite exceptional boutique hotel. We wanted to get away from beach resorts, to explore the countryside of Lanzarote, the quiet beaches and the cultural experience / Manrique etc etc. We chose the very best location and hotel for this. The breakfast was tremendous, served to your table and a very healthy variety of options. Dinner - we decided we'd eat on 1 night of our 7 night stay. However, the dinner was so tremendous, we ate there on 3 nights! We stayed in room 6 (upper floor). Very spacious, bedroom, lounge and bathroom with a front balcony and a rear balcony overlooking the courtyard. All in all a great escape from the early onset of winter in Scotland. Sonsoles, Nicholas and all the team went out of their way to be helpful, which made the stay very special. Thankyou."

"Apartments were brilliant, clean, spacious, adequately equipped for self catering! We had one backing onto a road but this wasn't a problem, not bothered by much road noise! The pool area was out of this world, a little touch of heaven, lovely pool, comfy sun beds and always some available! Staff were really friendly and cocktails and food reasonably priced! The situation of the apartments to the main strip was good, 5 mins walk down hill and you were there! We will definitely look forward to going back again!"
