"Well located next to the train station. Check in time a little weird at 4pm but is fine if you arrive late in town. The attractions are all on top of the hill about 20 mins walk from the hotel. The staffs are very friendly. Rooms are well allocated and size is alright."

"Terrible! Super noisy, the beds are dramatic you can better lie on the floor. You don't want to talk about the shower at all. Because of all the missing eyelets, half of the cramped shower remains. Floor sticks, the weather is in the sheets."

"We stayed at this Ibis hotel for a single night en route to Alsace. It's very conveniently situated, right next to the Autoroute - but despite the proximity to the road we didn't find it at all noisy. There's a slight downside in that in order to get from the hotel to the medieval city of Laon, which stands on the top of a hill, you have to take your car; it's a very steep and long climb, which is too much to do on foot. We stayed on a Friday night; the hotel wasn't at all busy - we suspect it may be busier during the working week. Parking is plentiful. Our room was quite small but perfectly satisfactory for an overnight stay; however, the shower room was quite cramped. Due to the need to drive into Laon itself we decided to eat in the restaurant at the hotel and we were very pleased with our meal of sea bass fillet, which was beautifully cooked; the portions were generous. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. "

"Comfortable, characterful room at a moderate price. Extremely helpful and welcoming reception staff. Sited in the centre of Laon’s old town with free parking nearby. Only drawback was there is no air-conditioning in the room we stayed in, though we didn’t need it as the temperature was cool for the time of year."

"Great experience, we dropped in on the off chance of a room. the guy in charge could not have done more for us, he let us park next door, booked us dinner, even took us to a shop when I was looking to buy something specific. Great breakfast as well."
