"Great for an overnight stay while travelling. Small compact room but cosy and warm with everything on hand. HOWEVER, a good night's sleep was broken by what sounded like workmen in the room directly above us. Hammering and drilling at 2.30 in the morning for more than an hour....a BIG NO-NO when you have a day of travel ahead of you!!"

"Stayed in a family room with a double bed plus bunk beds for two nights on the way down south. Iris out in an industrial so a car is required to get back to the main town of Chartres although a bus service exists. The room was fine as a base, small but clean. Didn’t like the well used shower curtain and more hooks would be nice in the bathroom. We didn’t eat there but breakfasted at the local boulangerie. There is an Aldi right opposite the hotel and parking was plentiful. Getting into Paris by train was a bit of hassle as there was a train once an hour then nothing for two. Chartres was lovely, ate there both nights."

"Really enjoyed our few days here. The rooms are spotless and well equipped with extremely comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. It was lovely to have a delicious breakfast in the garden in the shade every morning. Marie Christine and Michel are delightful hosts who did everything to make our stay so enjoyable and they have many tips and suggestions for places to visit."
