"Really tired hotel and not really what I’d expect of the Mercure brand. Everything about the Hotel was run down. Very few staff were available on our visit and bar was closed early when we fancied a night cap. Such a shame but much better options in Le Mans."

"This hotel was a stopover on our return home to Scotland and we booked well in advance online last year. We made a mistake and arrived a day late but the hotel was brilliant and managed to offer us a room anyway and was ground floor and parked right outside. The room was clean and a good size with extra security of the double doors on entering, this would make someone travelling on their own feel safe. TV available and WIFI free. Onsite restaurant means you don't have to go far for a meal. We chose the Duo Formule for 16 euros offering either a starter and main or dessert and main. The starter from the buffet was delicious with a great selection. We both chose the Tuna for the main course and unfortunately it was well overdone and like cardboard but on a good note the sauce was pretty tasty. We did speak to the chef and his reason for the Tuna being overdone was that the Tuna is frozen? The staff knowing that we were Scottish assumed that we would want the English menu and no one should assume as when in France we like to speak French and eat French dishes. Would we return..probably as ideal for overnight stop."
