"Such a lucky find in the heart of Lecce. Dimi House is very tastefully furnished. We stayed in room 2 which was a stunning large room with a huge and gorgeous bathroom. Dominico our host was super helpful and very sweet. The whole house smelled Devine. Breakfast was continental, delicious and plentiful. The breakfast area was very tastefully decorated and there are tables on the terrace for al fresco dining. Don’t hesitate to book this amazing BnB."

"My review concerns the restaurant, and I must say right away that it was a disappointment. We're not there for several reasons. The fixed menu offered for Easter Monday at €45 seemed interesting on paper, as did the location, but aside from a few good-quality appetizers, the rest, from the entrees to the dessert, was a negative surprise: the food was bland, flavorless, and in some cases poorly presented. The meat (pork, rabbit, and bombette) was poorly cooked (the rabbit was practically boiled), more like a simple trattoria than a restaurant; and finally, the dessert (panna cotta) was completely bland. Even the wine—of modest quality—was served without careful pairing, with only a local rosé being served from the start throughout the meal for everyone at the table (there were about fifteen of us). For €45 and in that setting (a tastefully renovated farmhouse), I would have expected more attentive and refined cuisine, more like a restaurant. In short, the location isn't enough; more professionalism and craftsmanship are needed in the kitchen."

"Search reviews M X 1/5 4 minutes ago on Google never stayed in a similar towel. Photos are completely INGREDIENT! We stayed in a loud, dirty, shower, which was compassionate, dirty and myrky in the bathroom.The pictures of that tug that she had been lying to us do not appear at all, nowhere. On the bottom of the water tartaro by anyone how much. No shower tape, a wet-shaking smell, so much that old and strawed bed hand towels and our clothes were almost wet; a vomiting stick out of the washing room without a cap; a broken coffee machine. Breakfast served in the indoor courtyard, very different from the pictures, all sweet, dirty, red and colourless gadget, anybody knows when the pictures are. Fresh bars and cucumbers, we tried to drink a juice and was rough, the coffee could only be done in the room, but we could not see the device throwing only cold water, while putting the soda. I am sure that no one would sleep in that stupid thing, but unfortunately the smart owner, who did not even get himself to our arrival and did not answer the phone, was paid in advance, otherwise we would have gone away immediately. Parking is on the street and you need to be lucky. Far from the center. A experience to never repeat. Smuts everywhere, I don't know how to have good reviews, I think it's absurd. NOT WERE 👎👎👎 VERGOGNA!"

"The hotel is terrible and feels like a youth hostel very different from the photos. Even though amenities listed show spa there is none and they charge a fortune to use it. The host doesn’t speak English and is rude, rooms are filthy, linen has stains and fridge had ice cream all over. The cherry on the cake is the aggressive owner who bullied us with very rude messages after we gave him a bad review. He also seems like a compulsive liar in his answers to our bad review. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, stayed in much nicer hotels in the area for much less. That was the most and only unpleasant experience we had in Puglia when all the other hosts were great."

The first was so good, this time I booked out the whole venue. Do not hesitate to stay here. It is far, far more than a mere 3 stars. Geltrude is certainly the star of the show. She was incredible in organising the weekend, helping me with local establishments and activities. Nothing was too much. If I lived in Lecce, Geltrude is someone I would love to call a best friend. I am very particular in where I stay in the world, but would immediately come back here for a third or more time. What Geltrude and the family are doing here is nothing short of exceptional. Don’t hesitate - book immediately! ❤️"

"The location is perfect, right in the middle of the old town. Beautifully decorated and the breakfast is amazing (tea/coffee, milk, yogurth, croissant, mermelade, cereals and cake). On Sunday breakfast is served in a cafeteria 300mts but is just coffee and ham and cheese sandwich. Spotless clean, great and very hot shower. It has a fridge. Our room was the smallest one, the others are much bigger, but for us it was perfect. Easy to check in and Julia was very kind. Highly recommended!!!"

Fantastically situated in the historical centre of Lecce, a short walk from all the sites -and only a few meters from the Roman Amphitheatre, nice bars and restaurants nearby, and plenty more a short walk away. The building itself is charming, and the rooms generous and comfortable. We've been several times, as have all friends and family, and will certainly be coming back! Highly recommended."

"I booked through Booking the nights of December 31st and January 1st 2024 a month ago, at 1am I received a cancellation email because they were unable to verify my card, so I called personally and a girl who was already lazy answered and told me that they couldn't do anything for me and that they were full for those days. Even when I suggested rebooking with a different card she said no, that it was no longer possible. I pointed out that the cancellation had occurred yesterday evening (18/12) in the middle of the night and I called this morning at 1pm (18/12). It seems strange to me that in a few hours my reservation had already been replaced by someone else. Now, to avoid ruining my New Year's Eve, I would have to rebook two weeks before New Year's Eve paying triple what I would have normally paid. Terrible customer service to say the least."

"The hotel is conveniently located in the old town, about a 20-minute walk from the main attractions. The hotel and room design and decor are superb! It retains a medieval charm while incorporating modern style and contemporary art. The rooms are very spacious. The hotel owner is incredibly welcoming and attentive. On the day I arrived by car, there was temporary roadwork, and my GPS couldn't find a suitable route. The hotel sent someone to help me get there – a huge thank you! Parking costs €25 per day; be sure to book in advance and get confirmation. Note that there are strict traffic regulations in the old town. The breakfast is excellent! It's a combination of à la carte and buffet style."

"Stayed two nights as part of an Exodus group tour ( from U.K. ) to the Puglia region . Negatives - very small double room ( closely resembled a university dorm room ) Safe not working & when advised staff said couldn’t be replaced or repaired . Tea / coffee sachets in room but never supplied with milk & staff said hadn’t got any . Paper cups to use for black (!) tea /coffee which promptly leaked as soon as hot water put in them ( several other guests mentioned the same ) Corridors are extremely dark ( recessed lighting ) Positives - convenient to walk into town ( about 15-20 mins ) Close to a couple of mini supermarkets Breakfast OK ( standard continental) Has a nice roof terrace that is not mentioned & worth sitting on with a glass of wine from the bar . Shower small but ample supply of hot water . Staff very friendly"

"Probably one of the most price worthy and clean apartments in Lecce! We only stayed one night but we really enjoyed our stay. The apartments are clean and the location is very good. To enter the building you must do some online check-in and open the door with your phone, no problem for us but maybe annoying for older people or those who don’t have internet. The only thing I didn’t like was that the bathroom was very narrow so everytime I walked in I bumped in to the door/wall/bide etc which I don’t like. But overall, very good for Lecce and I recommend!"
