"If you want basic then this is for you. The bed was nice but the pillows were terrible, both myself and my OH woke with very stiff necks! The room was absolutely freezing and I ended up sleeping in a hoodie just to keep warm. The "hospitality" tray was a joke with only enough milk for one cup of coffee - good job the OH can drink it black! The tv was incredibly small, I don't think I've ever seen one that small before, difficult to actually watch anything. I usually keep a glass of water by the bed but there weren't any glasses! I really wanted a bath to warm up but unfortunately we only had a shower, that's when I discovered that there wasn't any of the usual complimentary shower gel or shampoo/conditioner! There WAS a bottle of hand wash by the sink, but I certainly wasn't going to use that as a body wash & shampoo! It was mostly clean although it looked pretty bad around the bottom of the shower screen and there were some awful stains on the carpet. So glad we only had to endure one night! Never saw any staff except when we first arrived and were given our key. Shame really as it could've been really nice!"

"Just arrived back from a weekend away. Will definitely be returning here, it ticked every box we could've asked for and more. Check in was straight forward and easy, mainly due to Sarah and how welcoming she made us feel. The rooms maybe small but perfect for what we wanted; somewhere to rest our heads for the night to go out exploring. (size similar to the accommodation they provide you at Butlins, you dont want the room too big as you only really use it to sleep at night) However, with that being said, i thought the rooms were fantastic regardless. Outstanding value for money and centrally located for many things to do (local market, Woburn safari, MK Dons football, Bletchley Park) Everything in the room was clean and looked brand new. Complimentary tea, coffee, fresh milk, biscuits, pain au chocolat and fruit on arrival as well was a nice touch. There is ample car parking available at no extra cost. You can also have a drink outside your room, lovely if its a nice sunny summers day. The room was adjacent to the pub itself. The pub had a lovely warm family feel to it. We had dinner and breakfast and both were perfect, cooked to order. The place allowed us to relax with a drink in the evening in front of the fireplace whilst doing some general knowledge quiz with some of the games they had out to share whilst others played darts. The hostess Sarah was very friendly and easily approachable to have a conversation with. All in all, everything was perfect from start to finish, not one negative i could say about this place. Dogs and Children welcome if applicable but i'd thoroughly recommend this place for a couples weekend away."
