"We stayed in Young’s Stupa hotel during our birdwatching trip in Nepal. It is located close to the Begnas lake in a semi-rural area not far from Pokhara. The rooms were clean, water in shower was warm, wifi was working, breakfasts were fine and the one-man staff was always kind and helpful. If you don’t mind some stairs, ask for a room at the third floor. You will have access to a large terrace with great views of the surrounding countryside. Even some casual birdwatching can be done from the terrace. Admitedly, the hotel seems to remember better times, but its price makes it a bargain worth enjoying."

"My family of 4 adults had a crazy good visit here. We love the outdoors and animals, wildlife, friendly staff, and excellent food, all of what we experienced here. The resort is perched on a mountainside and lakeshore so expect steps, making for good exercise as you explore the stunning grounds. Our 45 minute paddled canoe ride to the resort was so calming and unique. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay long enough."

"The hotel was nice and clean and it was very close to Begnas Lake which is pretty good for lake visiting and fishing activities. The only thing is they didnt recognize my booking and i paid manually. Hotel should be aware about their property listed website and should accept the guest who made booking via app where their property is listed."

The staff was remarkably friendly and attentive; everyone worked hard to see that we were comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I'd particularly recommend the Indian Breakfast with puris and curry. We had a wonderful stay."
