"Great value for the price. It’s a very well-kept place with cozy interiors dating back to the nineties, when “Swiss quality” really meant a difference. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Although the breakfast starts somewhat late for a hotel in Switzerland (after 8:00) you’ll get to enjoy your traditional morning meal in a beautiful restaurant room with views of the Alpine panorama. A great choice we made for our trip in early March, where we made the winter walk from Sunnbüel (Kandersteg) to Gemmi (Leukerbad)."

"Truly amazing! If you have an Indy Pass and are coming to ski Leukerbad, this is the place to stay. We came with our three kids and felt completely at home. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive to your every need. The location is perfect. The ski tram is a short walk away and you can ski right back to the hotel (the trail down goes through a tunnel!). Then you can enjoy some of their mulled wine at the Apres ski bar outside. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the best in town. Can’t say enough good things…one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at!"

"Hotel pilnie potrzebuje remontu. Zatrzymało się tam tylko piętnaście osób, więc panował tam raczej upiorny klimat. Dostaliśmy pokoje na najwyższym piętrze, które były małe, z maleńkimi okienkami wychodzącymi na dach, bez widoku, co było żałosne, ponieważ inne piętra były oczywiście wolne. W łazience były odpryski płytek i popękana umywalka. Śniadanie było obfite, ale wszystko stało wieki, więc ugotowane potrawy wyschły. Bar jest na stałe zamknięty i nie ma miejsca do siedzenia, a baseny, choć gorące, nie mają już dysz. Szkoda, bo mają ogromny potencjał."

"I don't normally leave a review but we had such a poor experience that has not been addressed, I felt I wanted to warn other people staying. Our room was lovely and the receptionist was great. However, no hotel management are on the premises from 5.30pm. This caused an issue, as some extremely drunk people were remotely let into a room at 11.30pm at night and made such an unpleasant & disturbing noise that we could not sleep. One family had small children near the room and were on the verge of calling the police as the noise was so disturbing. In the morning we raised our concerns and the receptionist also said the drunken men had been calling her until 1.30pm in a drunken state until she asked them to stop. However, we have had no further contact from the owner and as they had our card details, the full amount has been taken out with no form of compensation. It let me feeling very concerned that people staying in the hotel are left quite vulnerable."

The hotel is very close to the thermal baths (Walliser Alpentherme) and our room had a nice balcony and was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful."

"Cześć Dostaliśmy świetny pokój, a właściwie apartament z super ładnym widokiem. Śniadanie było pyszne. Jedna rzecz mi się nie podobała. W pokoju nie było termostatu ani regulacji temperatury. Mieliśmy pokój dwupoziomowy i na górze było bardzo gorąco. Problem polegał na tym, że nie mogliśmy tego regulować."

"Lovely, calm place to relax.Within walking distance from the bus station so easy to get to by public transport. I had a lovely room with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and staff were so friendly and helpful, I felt less awkward than I usually do as a solo traveller. Cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Indoor and outdoor pool are great for a gentle swim ,and bathrobe, slippers and towel are all ready waiting for you in your room. A great place for a getaway break."

"Hotel Pokój i cały hotel wyraźnie zdradzają swój wiek. Wystrój jest mało zachęcający i pozbawiony jakiegokolwiek zauważalnego uroku. Szczególnie uderzyło nas wrażenie przebywania w budynku, w którym praktycznie nie ma personelu, co sprawiało wrażenie niemal bezludnego. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, wrażenie było dość chłodne i bezosobowe. Śniadanie: Kawa i plecionka były dobre. Soki były z kartonu, a ananas z puszki i nie były uzupełniane. Bułki były wstępnie upieczone. Były różne płatki Kellogg's. Brakowało zdrowego musli. Śniadanie było serwowane w pizzerii, a makaron resztkowy z poprzedniego wieczoru był również oferowany. Naszym zdaniem muzyka rockowa nie pasowała do przytulnej atmosfery śniadania. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, widzimy znaczne możliwości poprawy w kwestii śniadań, zwłaszcza pod względem świeżości i atmosfery. Alpenrherme stoi na raczej niskim poziomie."
