"Although it's a guesthouse, the overall facilities and service are beyond 5-star. The hotel is a renovated historic ticket office. You enter through a bookstore and pass a long corridor to reach the front desk. As soon as I checked in, the front desk upgraded me to a suite, which immediately made a great impression. To maintain privacy, the hotel has a security gate, and only registered guests can access the residential area with their key cards. That's another plus! My room was on the third floor, accessible by elevator. The room was very spacious, and the bedding was perfectly comfortable – neither too soft nor too firm. Stepping out of the room, you could see a large public terrace. Looking out, I could admire the lush, natural scenery of the distant mountains, which was absolutely refreshing. While the breakfast variety wasn't as extensive as a 5-star hotel, it was still very plentiful and, more importantly, much more thoughtful and heartfelt than typical hotel breakfasts. Many local snacks were carefully selected and ordered by the hotel, such as Wang Tianshun's seaweed cakes, an old brand's wontons from the market, Sanhe & Simei's fermented tofu, freshly fried mini fritters, and local noodles. The coffee was also excellent. Because the breakfast was so uniquely local and delicious, I ended up eating a lot every morning! The hotel's location is also very central. Longxing Temple, Ziyang Street, and the entrance to the ancient city wall are all nearby. There are also many local restaurants around the hotel, offering plenty of choices. Yet, the hotel itself manages to be a tranquil oasis in the bustling city, and my room was very quiet. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Linhai!"

"As an ordinary tourist, I'd give Yuanzhou Hotel a 98 out of 100. Advantages: 1. The hotel butler added us on WeChat a day in advance to arrange room type, free parking, dining, etc. Even though it was a weekday check-in, the butler thoughtfully upgraded all three of our rooms. 2. The VIP reception staff greeted everyone politely. On the day of our arrival, the receptionist went directly to the underground parking garage to help us with our luggage and accompanied us upstairs. The toiletries in the room were from Atelier Cologne, and when we asked for a few more samples, the hotel readily agreed. 3. The VIP building is separate from the regular guest room floor, avoiding noise. The afternoon tea in the executive lounge also solved the problem of awkward meal times after visiting Guoqing Temple and Tiantai Mountain. 4. The breakfast selection was quite extensive, including regular food and seaside specialty snacks, and the dining environment was comfortable. There were actually more dishes available after 8 am than at 7 am. 5. The two-night package we chose cost around 650 RMB per day, including unlimited drinks at the minibar and late-night seafood noodles, which was great value. If you have plenty of energy, the package including city wall tickets and transportation seems even more cost-effective. Driving from the hotel to the nearest city gate is less than a 10-minute drive. Areas for improvement: 1. Both rooms had a slight sewage backflow smell in the bathroom, but it didn't spread to the sleeping areas. 2. The quality of the napkins in the room could be improved. Also, we were in a rush when checking out, and the front desk may have forgotten about the souvenir. Before we even reached the high-speed rail station, the butler contacted us and arranged for it to be delivered. Thank you so much!"

"This hotel deserves a full five-star review! I chose it because it was ranked number one in Taizhou, and it truly lived up to that reputation. First, the shuttle drivers were incredibly enthusiastic. Because of the holiday traffic and parking difficulties, they waited for valet parking at the parking lot entrance – a truly touching gesture in such hot weather. The hotel contacted me several days in advance about my accommodation arrangements; the service was excellent. Many hotels of this level in northern China don't offer this level of service. During my stay, the shuttle service was also very convenient, providing pick-up and drop-off wherever I needed to go. They deserve a bonus for such hot weather! The hotel itself is a converted printing factory, very unique. It's not on the main street, not commercialized, but nestled in a quiet, lively alley. The 538-year-old camphor tree in the courtyard is absolutely beautiful; we had a photoshoot there, and the pictures turned out great. The hotel facilities are excellent. The complimentary snacks and bedtime sweet soup were particularly good. I didn't have time to try the hand-drip coffee, so I don't know how it was 😂 The breakfast was also excellent, featuring local specialties – exquisite and plentiful, with basic options available. I was very full. For a hotel, it's impeccable! The only thing I have to complain about is dinner. I felt like the hotel wasn't running it itself. The 2-3 person set meal looked good, so I ate at the hotel. But there were only two tables of guests, and the food was served incredibly slowly. Besides the cold fish cake and bean noodles, the rest of the dishes were not good. Please improve! Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel and would stay here again if I came to Linhai again."
