"The room was lovely, with a beautiful window view. In the mornings, I could hear birds chirping, and at night, the sound of frogs, which perfectly fit the expectation of breathing fresh mountain air. However, the room didn't have a mini-fridge. I asked the housekeeper to help me put some items in the park's freezer, but they ended up being put in the refrigerator instead. They didn't freeze, and I had to throw them away, which was quite frustrating. The hotel offers a group chat service, and the housekeeper, Chang Le, was very enthusiastic and helpful. The complimentary photoshoot with photographer 'Tiān Shàng Yuè' (Heavenly Moon) was also excellent, with no hard selling. All the staff members were very friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Since only hotel guests are allowed in, the entire resort was very quiet with few people. I'm not sure if it was just the off-season, but many facilities seemed to be closed, making the park feel a bit desolate. Only three outdoor hot spring pools were open. Also, at this time of year, there were a lot of flying insects, and it was hard to avoid them in the hot springs, which was a bit annoying."

The hot spring service was very good, with dry towels readily available for changing. They even offered warm porridge late at night, which was delicious."

"The lake view from the room is great, and while the facilities are a bit old, they are very clean. There are plenty of activities for all ages and seasons, making a three-day, two-night stay perfect. The hotel staff are all warm and polite and interact well with children. The hot springs are a highlight, with over thirty open, so it never feels crowded, and there are many staff members attending to them. However, the Fisherman's Wharf restaurant was a huge disappointment. A la carte options are expensive, and the set menus are limited, too salty, and the bamboo shoots were tough and unappetizing. It's definitely not suitable for two adults and one child; the only decent thing on the set menu was a fried fish roll. Furthermore, the service was abysmal. No one greeted us upon entering, and after our meal, no one asked for feedback, offered a small snack, or called a shuttle. There was absolutely no service to speak of, a stark contrast to the Hong Kong-style restaurants we've experienced. My rating is for the hotel; if it were just for Fisherman's Wharf, I'd give it only one star for the ambiance."

The environment is serene and peaceful, and our room was quiet at night, far from the city's hustle and bustle, creating an amazing atmosphere. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, very friendly, polite, and responsive. The breakfast offered a rich variety of dishes with fresh ingredients that catered to most tastes. Overall, it's incredibly good value for money and a true gem for a relaxing getaway in Tianmu Lake. We'd definitely come back again!"
