"I booked The Table as my guest house accommodation while attending a wedding in Polkobin (The Convent). I could not have been happier with my choice. Jo is an incredible host and chef and from the moment I arrived from Sydney later than planned to a smiling host, offer of a drink, a warm fire and 3 course meal. I knew I was in for a delightful weekend. The bed was so soft and cosy. The 3 course breakfast was incredible. Jo went out of her way to offer this busy mum the R&R she so very much needed, even dropping me at the wedding the following day, a good 25 minute drive away. Her adorable dog Harvey is an added bonus. This gem of a place feels like a warm hug. I will definitely be back - and am tempted to book out the whole place out (and Jo) with friends. Romantic, restful and cosy. Give this local business your business. You won't be disappointed. Tours, carriages, lunches and dinners were available on request with as much or as little conversation as you would like. Jo seems to know exactly what her guests need. Thank you again for such a personalised service Jo! See you again."

"Leaves and fishes is a place like no other in the Hunter Valley. As soon as you arrive you are greeted by the most beautiful grounds and I instantly felt a sense of calm. My husband and I LOVED our boathouse. With its king size bed, incredible bath and beautiful outlook how could you not! We actually planned to do more activities while we were in the Hunter, but we loved the serenity and our boathouse so much we actually spent most of our time there. An absolutely beautiful place to stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you for such a beautiful stay. Sal and Mark"

"Positives - great view, location, fairly new air con so efficient, good showerhead and ok bed. Unfortunately, it is dated and needs a lot of TLC. Can't believe we paid $360 for two nights. Just look at the photos I took. They speak for themselves. On the website, it mentions a restaurant but it looks like it has not been functioning for a long time. In our "chalet", there were things in the fridge and freezer from previous guests, cobwebs galore in the room and the lounge was stained and squeaky. We put a blanket on the lounge so we could sit on it. Kitchen and bathroom were made to look like it had a row of feature tiles but it was a "stick on" feature that was peeling off. I don't know what constitutes a "resort" but this is not a "resort" that you want to stay at. This place should be shut down until repairs and a deep clean has been done. My purpose in writing this review is not to shame but to warn others not to spend the money. Stay somewhere else. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and I will never go back. I will look for other accommodation in the vineyards. "

"Jest to także pierwszy pobyt, który mielismy z nowymi właścicielami, Gareth i Lauren, którzy nie mogliby być bardziej przyjemni i zakwaterowani. Mieliśmy późną rezerwację dla innej pary, która nie mogłaby do nas dołączyć, a Gareth odszedł z drogi, aby znaleźć dla nich pokój w jednym z innych nieruchomości. W połączeniu z niesamowicie ogromną kuchnią i pięknym jadalni i salon, nie można było chcieć więcej. Ponadto skorzystaliśmy z pokoju basenu i spędziliśmy kilka godzin zabawy po kolacji. Życzymy Gareth, Lauren i ich 5 dzieci wszystko najlepsze i oczekujemy wielu powrót do domu."

"The Table is in a quiet side street and just a hop, skip and jump from Hunter Valley attractions. The rooms are welcoming, well appointed and spotless. They have the most divine linen and towels. The bungalow we stayed in had a little balcony. The shower is excellent, with great water pressure. The welcoming hosts serve a substantial and varied continental breakfast, where you can sit inside at tables set with lovely linen, or outside in the well tended tropical courtyard. Best of all; it is pet friendly and dogs can wander in the gated courtyard safely. We loved staying here and will definitely be returning."

"Hello,Thank you for a marvellous stay in the accommodation at Emma's Cottage and an excellent wine tasting at the Cellar Door.The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The pool was wonderful (especially on a 41° day!) and the shower flow and products were lovely! We enjoyed viewing the wildlife from our front door, including kangaroos and birdlife. It was so quiet and peaceful.The venue was centrally located to access other vineyards for wine tasting and cafes for wonderful food.We would highly recommend.  Thanks again"

"My husband and I shared a wonderful baby moon at the boat houses. It was so relaxing and recharging and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. "Simply loved Tuckers Lane. A lovely quiet location in a quaint setting. The self contained cabins had everything we needed (coffee pods, machine, fresh milk, some complimentary breakfast supplies - which were very much appreciated). We stayed in a one bedroom cabin and space was good for two people and the outdoor area was private enough. The spa was great and its maintained daily. Carolyn very kindly organised a birthday cake for my hubby which went down a treat. I would return any day. Thank you"

"Requested earlier check-in..no problem, got my email teeing me which unit, key in door. Arrived...couldn't find the unit. Walked around , 10 minutes great views, finally found it. First impression: very basic. Toilet had skid marks! Spiderwebs on walls, cut finger on e exposed staple on front door. Counter tops sticky and dirty. Dust clumps on floor. Plugged the iron in, bit of a spark at power point. Ironed, left for party at a winery. Returning about 11.00pm. 12.01am received map to find Where to find unit! Bed...clean and comfortable. No lights on bedhead worked. Power point was frizzled! Could smell that it had burned through. Pulling curtain closed, it fell! Dust and cobwebs! Air-conditioning off. Could hear people from every other unit. Eventually, a comfortable sleep. Shower head fell off as the water was turned on. Struggled for 20 minutes to reconnect it. Really needs an overhaul. Fresh paint, and a good clean. Sadly dissapointed."
