"Oh dear! The front - desk service here is truly abysmal. They didn't bother to inform us in advance about how to get to our pre - booked rooms. Moreover, they even tried to take away our room keys. The room facilities are extremely shabby. We had no quilts, just a dirty blanket. It's so noisy around here and the sound insulation is so poor that we can hardly get a good night's sleep. I booked two types of rooms, one standard queen - sized bed room and the other a twin - bed room. But instead of giving us the twin - bed room, the hotel put us in a six - person apartment. It's just a complete disaster! The worst part is the service of the front - desk manager. Because of this hotel, my impression of Mackay is really not good at all! If you're coming to Mackay, please don't stay here."

Comfortable bed, and I must say the shower had possibly the most fantastic water pressure of any hotel/motel I had ever stayed in. Only stayed for one night, so no complaints. Simple check in/check out process, ample parking. Motel is located on a very busy road and under the flight path, so a little noisy. Otherwise fine."
