"I spent an incredible week at this adorable hotel just steps from a sparkling clean beach on the Caribbean!! The location is so central near all shops and restaurants, yet it’s quiet. The hotel is decorated with a distinctly Italian flair and the service couldn’t be better. The rooms are extremely comfortable and cozy, and the roof garden and the view gorgeous. There are few papers of the Mexican Caribbean that are sargasso free, and Mahajual is one of them. Highly recommend the hotel and this area of the Yucatan Peninsula (the reef and snorkeling are remarkable!!) and their rates are an absolute steal."

"Really nice staff. Delicious breakfasts (but if you've prepaid for them to be included, confirm this at checkin). But seaview rooms are lacking. First one didn't have a toilet seat. Second one had a bad sewage smell the whole time. And no hot water in the shower. Nor soap by the sink."

"The location was good and the other facilities were old and shabby.It was too dark because there was no light and the air conditioner outdoor was right in the room, so I couldn't turn on the air conditioner and sleep because of the noise.Fortunately, I slept because there was a fan. The doors are not closed, and there are a lot of mosquitoes in between."
