However, all communication was ineffective. Ctrip helped me communicate with them countless times, but they just wouldn't give a refund, even half. I'm willing to pay half the price for my mistake. These shady guys are just too greedy for money."

The location is also so central and convenient with a supermarket on the same block and cafes within walking distance. But the real highlight for me was how incredible the staff treated us. No matter what the issue was, they were ready to help solve it for us. The manager, Yuri, went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of and happy with our stay. I cannot recommend Oryx enough. I will definitely return to this beautiful hotel whenever I am next in Maputo!"
