"We are a family of 4 and only had a 1 sleeper apartment, with kids sleeping on sleeper couches. Had an absolute blast! On 2nd floor with sea view. Enough amenities to keep teenage kids busy too. Loved it!! Walking distance from beach & restaurants. Close to shops."

"We arrived late. It was dark and raining. the time was 7p.m. We asked if there was somewhere in the hotel where we could order a sandwich. We were told that the coffee shop was closed and if we wanted to get something the Spar was up the road. My husband kicked up a fuss and they reluctantly came forward with a menu from the local pizza place. Seeing the coffee shop was only supposed to close at 8 this was a poor show. Accommodation was satisfactory. Serviced only twice a week. Wonderful patio. Have to pay extra for aircon. This timeshare needs to be remember that one goes on holiday to relax. Not to wash dishes after e very meal. Unfortunately couldn't go down to the beach because the rains had washed the walkway away. We went to report this to the management who denied any knowledge of it.. Other than that a pleasant stay. Would we stay there again. No. Better accommodation elsewhere in Natal with service every day. Normal proximity to the beach at normal times is first class"

"Moja rodzina i ja spędziliśmy ten weekend w The Beach Palace Ramsgate (18th-20th październik 2024). Alida i reszta personelu przyjemnie przywitały i gościnnie przez cały nasz pobyt. Byli szczegółowo w tym, co zrobili, i byliśmy zmuszeni do poczucia się w domu od chwili, gdy dotarliśmy. Położony w spokojnej, bezpiecznej okolicy, Plaża Palace jest całkowicie piękna z wyrafinowanym wnętrz i zewnętrzny projekt. Doskonale manicurowane trawniki, dobrze utrzymane ogrody, basen i siłownia, a także spektakularne widoki na morze wszystkie dodadzą do jego luksusowej atmosfery. Każdego ranka leczyliśmy się na śniadanie z chwastym śniadaniem i wszystkie udogodnienia były dostępne dla nas, które wykorzystaliśmy w pełni, chociaż pogoda nie była całkowicie po naszej stronie. Odkładając to wszystko od, uważam, że ważne jest, aby to znane ... moi synowie są autystyczne i to sprawia, że bardzo się martwimy, aby wyjąć ich z ich rutynowej rutynowej, bo obawiam się rozpadu lub tantrum. Jednakże w ten weekend wszyscy cieszyliśmy się dwiema nocami nieprzerwanego, spokojnego snu, który jest największą rzeczą jaką mamy w ciągu ostatnich 3 lat. Pałac plaży jest w rzeczywistości terapeutyczny w tym sensie, że zapewnia czułe doświadczenie dla dzieci takich jak mój z szerokimi otwartymi przestrzeniami, luste zielenie i dźwięki, zapach i odczucie oceanu. W rezultacie, w ciągu dnia były one bardziej regulowane, co wyeliminowało potrzebę innej interwencji. Rodzice w społeczności autystycznej będą się ze mną zgadzać, kiedy powiem, że dajemy ważny organ doświadczyć tylko jeden dzień "normalności" i mamy doświadczyć dwa! Bardzo polecam The Beach Palace, gdy rozważamy rodzinne wakacje, zwłaszcza jeśli Masz dziecko na spektrum."

Perhaps renting out beach towels may be a revenue stream that can be looked at otherwise a very relaxing and affordable vacation. "We visited Margate Sands during the first week of April 2025. Staff support was excellent. The unit itself, unacceptable. The air-conditioning system was broken. The stove plates were not working. The noise levels after 11 p.m. uncontrollably and loud. Won't be back."
First Group Costa Smeralda ★★★
"Costa Smeralda has always been a special place for my family, and myself. We’ve been visiting for many years. The resort is ideally situated, in the most perfect and calm area. The facilities at the resort are always on point for beachfront self-catering units. When you arrive at the resort and immediately park your car, you know that the holiday is going to begin. The resort gives the best holiday feeling over the rest. Staff are always friendly and helpful, especially Tracy, Alfred, and Gladness. Unfortunately Kathy is no linger at the resort and has retired. The units at Costa Smeralda have unfortunately deteriorated to the point where upgrades are urgently needed, especially in the kitchens and bathrooms. The units are always neat and clean, and we’ve never had any issues with cleanliness. The security gates at the sliding doors also need to be replaced, as well as some of the furnishings in the lounge. The overall units need a big make over and TLC. Also I know it was due to cost saving, but the dishwashers and washing machines used to make it “THE” self catering units. The views at Costa Smeralda are the some of the best, especially in Units 4,5,6 in the front block. Some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Bonus for me at Costa is the nice braai on the balcony- braai with a view. The walks on the promenade in-front of the resort are always great, walking along the seaside, and fishing pier all the way to the main beach and restaurants. Costa Smeralda will always remain a go to holiday destination for us, however I prefer having my holidays in some of the resorts that are a bit more upgraded. Costa you will always remain a GEM!"
