Undoubtedly beautifully designed house with amazing Mt Fuji view. Quiet and peaceful. Check in procedure is unclear during booking and there was no check in instruction received via email until the day of checking in. Spent quite sometimes stuck outside of the house in the cold.

The staff gave a good reception. The house has a good view. The atmosphere is quiet and suitable for relaxing with the family. The windows on the second floor can clearly see the forest. Facilities are ready, clean, press like, leak, press, press like.

Location: 5 minutes from the lake shore and a fantastic viewpoint for mount Fuji. You can rent a bike (250 yen) and tour the lake shore or go to the nearest family mart / restaurants. Service: They would go above and beyond for you, and always with a smile. Seriusly, this is the best service we got in our 3 weeks in Japan, and the average Japanese service is like 4 levels above the average service in Europe and the US. They also provide a shuttle from Kawaguchico station. Cleanliness: The cabin shows its age, in its own charming way. Room: The vila's are big. One floor holds the living room, kitchen and the shower (with a private Onsen), the second floor has 2 beds and a tatami floor. The beds weren't so comfy, if there was a king bed it would have been a 11/10 stay. WIFI: Good on the first floor! less on the second.

It's barely okay. Don't expect any service for this condition. The kitchen utensils and laundry are complete. The location is relatively remote and difficult to find. There is no commissary nearby.

A lovely countryside style accommodation in the middle of rice fields is this 20 year plus family run business. Even made lovelier by the people who run the place- Miki was very hospitable and her attention to details of the needs of her clients was amazing. The villa where we stayed at had a large balcony with superb view of Mt. Fuji. The bathroom also has the view. I wish I can stay longer. I will definitely stay here if I am in this area again. The owner even brought us to have dinner at a nice place nearby and to do some shopping at a local store. A very relaxing retreat.
